First time visiting North Carolina and googled best clean eating establishments. This beautiful space popped up. From the interior to the service and tasty food I was in awe. Welcoming sleek decor and fresh clean ingredients were used to prepare my salad bowl. They literally have something for everyone. I knew by the long line I was in the right place. I ordered takeout but didn’t even leave the parking lot. I was left wanting more. Will be back!

Drove by this place and decided to turn around and give this place a try. The location of it is great within a small business center with plenty of other spots to try. I'm glad I went in. The place is very appealing, clean, and inviting within. They had plenty of fresh and healthy Mediterranean offerings to try. Went with a bowl, and it was great. Angelo was super insightful of the menu and friendly while he highlighted some great offerings.

The aesthetic of the store is great and the staff is super friendly. They chit chat with you as you either build your own item or choose a pre-built menu item. As far as the food, I found it ok. The meat was a bit too dry from both times I've had it (I'd recommend the chicken over the lamb) and the overall taste is a bit muted. Otherwise, it's definitely a healthy option with some unique flavors

When you walk in you seat yourself then when ready you go to order! It is kinda like chipotle style ordering where you walk and choose what you want!
My wife and I went there for lunch the place looked nice and modern. I took a bowl which came with a lot of options, by the time I got done the bowl was full with mainly vegetables but it was very tasty!
My wife chose the pita sandwich which it did not come with a lot of options!
They have a variety of drinks and is refillable!
The staff was friendly as well!
They don’t have shawarma they have beef gyro!
It is wheelchair accessible and they have a highchair for kids too!
Depending what you get, I felt it was a bit pricey, but worth the try! It is definitely a vegetarian friendly place!
Will keep updating as I go!

**Google Review for Yamas (Haynes Mall Location)**
Title: A Culinary Journey Worth the Wait
Rating: ★★★★☆
Yamas, nestled near the bustling area by Costco, offers a culinary experience that stands out distinctly from its downtown counterpart. Upon entering, you might be greeted with an unusual aroma, but don't let that be a deterrent. The magic of Yamas truly unfolds as you take your first bite.
The menu boasts an impressive array of options, with a plethora of spreads and ingredients to customize your bowl to your heart's content. The variety ensures that each visit can be a unique gastronomic adventure, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. From vibrant salads to hearty proteins, Yamas offers a comprehensive selection that promises something for everyone.
However, it's only fair to note that sometimes the chicken can be a tad on the dry side. But this minor hiccup barely detracts from the overall quality of the food. Each dish is prepared with care, and the flavors are so compelling that any initial qualms about the ambiance or the occasional wait in line quickly fade into the background.
Speaking of waits, patience is indeed a virtue at Yamas. There's often a queue, a testament to the place's popularity and the quality of the food it serves. While waiting might be seen as a slight inconvenience, the end reward is undoubtedly worth it. The anticipation only adds to the experience, heightening the satisfaction as you finally savor the delicious offerings.
One of the standout features of Yamas is its selection of spreads and the freedom to personalize your meal. Whether you're in the mood for something light and refreshing or rich and indulgent, the array of choices ensures your bowl is exactly to your liking. It's this level of customization that elevates Yamas from a mere dining option to a personal culinary adventure.
A word to the wise: if you're deciding between the Yamas locations, the one on Haynes Mall is the way to go. The flavors here seem to have an extra layer of depth and authenticity that the downtown location struggles to match. It's not just about the food, but the overall experience that seems more refined and enjoyable here.
In conclusion, Yamas near Costco is a gem worth exploring. Despite the initial odd smell and the occasional wait, the quality of the food, the variety of options, and the joy of customizing your bowl make for an unforgettable dining experience. It's a place that beckons for return visits, and I, for one, am already looking forward to my next meal there. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Mediterranean cuisine or a curious newcomer, Yamas is poised to delight your palate and leave you eagerly planning your next visit.

I should have been here sooner than today but I finally had the experience of Yamas @ Creekshire Way since the fourth street location wasn't as expected due to lack of acknowledgement and customer service but allow myself to focus on the positive of this specific location and the beyond amazing, energetic and smiling employees and let's not forget about the beautiful young woman w/ pink highlights upon her hair, dancing to the beat of the music (Mikenna) This lovely person is bubbly surely, she is a light to this specific establishment and location here in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Next, Tracy made up for the lack of energy thereof at the Fourth Street location. Tracy was very helpful and explained anything I was confused of on the menu and was very knowledgeable on literally all at hand. Thank you for being mature and kind. My Gyro was mouth watering.
Lastly, Mac was smiley and inviting also. She was helpful towards my secondary Yamas experience. Worthy of returning.
Overall, mouthwatering and fresh ingredients. Flavorful is an understatement and I believe I'm addicted to the rose lemonade. This specific location is priority and surely a role model to the other location downtown Winston that needs cleaned up.
Thank you, Mikenna - Tracy - Mac.

Came here for lunch for the first time for their "$5 bowl" (looks like bowls are usually $10.99 ish) anniversary day. The food was very good, but a lot more expensive than I anticipated, even with the promo!
They have a Chipotle-like set up for bowls; basically it's choose a base + protein + toppings + sauces. I got falafel and my husband got gyro meat, and despite the way the menu is set up insinuating that the proteins come with a bowl, there's apparently an upcharge for both. The falafel is a little uninspired but appealing in a texture sense and my husband's gyro meat was very good. The ingredients are all very fresh and clean tasting, in my opinion nothing was too heavy-handed or overdone / oily. We also got pita chips and they were extremely well seasoned and delicious. The garlic sauce and the lemon lime tahini sauce are both fantastic.
The fountain drinks are really interesting, they have a rose lemonade that we were both very fond of. Be aware of that these drinks are extremely sweet though, you might want to taste first and dilute with water if you're not a huge fan of ultra sweet drinks.
Even with the $5 promo, with two bowls, the apparent upcharges for falafel and gyro meat, pita chips, a fountain drink, and a can of seltzer, we paid ~$25, and that was before the tip that the card machine prompted us to leave.
Will I come here every week? No. Will I come once a month when I want to treat myself? Probably. I like the fresh flavors and honestly the atmosphere is really appealing - just wish they were a little more affordable as a fast casual place!

Grains Bowl
Already having frequented the Yamas on 4th street, I didn't think I'd get much more out of my experience than I already have. I was wrong.
Stepped outside my usual gyro or falafel to try a bowl and I'm so happy I did! Today I opted for the POMEGRANATE BRAISED LAMB SALAD. The person building my bowl was so friendly, helpful, and attentive the moment I walked in to help walk me through the process. I told him how I was pregnant and needed to make some substitutions to the way the bowl was prebuilt and he was wonderful at accommodating. I was then presented with a beautiful, generously portioned bowl of the freshest ingredients to-go. He also included a pita with my meal so I was able to try it as a wrap too! Very pleased with how I could eat so much lamb and not feel weighed down by all the meat. I think the sweetness of pomegranate was a great way to keep it fresh throughout. I'd totally recommend it!
Also included with the meal, the beverage drink, and dessert. I was expecting a bunch of fountain sodas, but the server explained to me that all the drinks were made in-house. I turned around and was met with a line-up of delicious flavors i.e. rose lemonada, tropical guava, mango passionfruit to name some. I landed on the pomegranate hibiscus!
I purchased a lamb gyro for my hubby with a side of their roasted potatoes and I wish I'd ordered more of those sides for myself! It was so good!
10/10 would recommend! Excited to have a fresh place like this to frequent next time I'm shopping in the area. This was a needed middle-ground option to break up the monotony of greasy or pricy food options otherwise.
