We were excited to stop in on opening day! Everyone was so welcoming & the space is BEAUTIFUL! Excited to share their classic goodies as gifts. And we can’t wait to try the new baked goods coming in 2024! The samples were delicious! We wish y’all the best!

Kind staff who make you feel very comfortable. They serve free samples of all flavors of the cookies which is a super nice idea especially if it's your first time trying these cookies. Even if the Moravian spice cookies are the most famous, my favorite one was sugar cookies.

The Original Wilkerson's Moravian Sugar Cake has been a part of my family's Christmas morning tradition since my Great-Grandmother, Elizabeth Lineback Hutchens served Moravian Sugar Cake to my Grandfather when he was a boy. Wilkerson's doesn't cut corners on ingredients and the Sugar cake tastes exactly how I remember when I was a kid. My favorite cookie flavor is the Blackbeard's Butter Rum but they're all great! The cheese straws have a hint of Cayanne and really hit the spot but be careful, you can easily eat an entire bag!

Samples, smiles, and tasty treats!
I was on my way to my favorite spot, Trader Joe's, when I noticed the Grand Opening signs along Stratford Rd.
I decided to see what they had to offer.
You can sample each flavor of Moravian cookies (lemon, spiced, ginger, rum, orange brandy), the famous Sugar Cake, and even sample their cheese straws. The cheese straws have a little kick of cayenne which is something I like.
Wilkerson's offers online shopping, for your convenience.
This bakery offers only Moravian cookies, sugar cakes, and cheese straws. No other traditional bakery items were seen. The massive equipment used for making the bakery items are right there, so imagine what that smells are like when they are running! Yum!
You MUST get the Butter Rum Cookies! Amazing flavor, made with NC Kill Devil Hills Rum.

If I could give this place 10 stars, believe me, I would. They opened 15 minutes early for us and let us taste their delicious goods, oh my god, I wanted to buy everything! The spice cookies are to die for. Their sugar cake is also my favorite. The cheese straws are DELICIOUS, more than delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough.

This was such a pleasant experience. It was a very friendly atmosphere & it definitely shows an immense amount of heart, especially being family owned. Not only that, but the cookies taste wonderful. They’re not like other cookies where you can ONLY taste the sugar & not the flavor - you can taste the flavor perfectly, it’s so intense despite the thinness of the cookies and I admire that a lot. I also think that the shape of the cookies having their own special meanings is very unique and cool. It’s very nice to see something new opposed to all of the regular bakeries that serve the usual basic things that are around. I absolutely recommend this place. Everything is lovely.

Went with my mom to try out the new location in Winston. The cookies, sugar cake and cheese straws were amazing! Freshest sugar cake I’ve ever had. We couldn’t even get out of the parking lot without trying everything! Will definitely be back soon!

Love having a family owned Moravian Bakery in Winston-Salem again. They truly out their heart and soul into creating a premium level goods with unique and fresh flavoring while respecting the honored traditions of the Wilkerson family! YUM on the Hot Cross Buns!

Omg, these are the best Moravian cookies and cheese straws. Can't wait to taste their cake when they get that part up & running. Very friendly staff that even offered a little background to the business!

We are in love with this bakery!!! I love all of their flavors and their Moravian Sugar Cake is the best I have had. Everyone there is so helpful and the space is beautifully decorated.
