Simply amazing!! Our whole family was beyond excited to find a sushi place in Aurland, and we were even more surprised upon tasting our order. First of all, the chef was incredibly kind and thoughtful, as he thoroughly explained the process of creating each dish. In particular, we were super impressed after hearing that he made the sauces (even the wasabi and soy sauce) himself, which tasted incredible and elevated the flavours as a whole. Also, the sashimi slices were super generous and fresh cuts. Personally, my favourites were the scallops sashimi and Hot Philadelphia.
The sushi was pure works of art, and I’m so glad that I got to taste it during my stay in Aurland! This is definitely one of the greatest highlights of my vacation, and I strongly recommend it to anyone nearby!

I would never have expected to eat some really delicious Sushi prepared by a Portuguese chef in a small town on a Fjord in Norway - but that is what we just did. We tried six different Maki rolls, all freshly prepared and ready for pick-up at the pre-ordered time, and each of them was very tasty, creative and beautiful to look at. A pity we won't be able to return any time soon.

Delicious sushi and lovely presentation from a delightful chef. When we arrived to pick up our order, Chef Sergio was waiting outside for us and took a moment to describe the dishes (homemade soy and other dipping sauces!), and ask us a bit about ourselves. So neat to get sushi using local fish from a Portuguese chef living on a Norwegian fjord for the love of the place!

Ok WOW. This is by far the best sushi my husband and I have ever had! The chef walks you through each thing you ordered upon pick-up and he was an absolute delight to chat with! The sauces that came with the rolls were each homemade and spectacular. The scallops sashimi was incredible- especially in his very own coriander/ginger sauce. Check this place out!

I recently had my first-ever sushi encounter, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The restaurant I visited was a hidden gem that came highly recommended by friends, and I am so glad I decided to give it a try.
It was truly a fantastic experience! Having sushi for the first time turned out to be an amazing adventure, and I found myself thoroughly enjoying it at this hidden restaurant my friends suggested. Discovering new places through friends' recommendations is always rewarding. I'm so happy I took the chance to try something new, and it turned out to be such a positive experience. Staying at a hotel in flam with limited food options so thought we’d get sushi delivered. Sergio was so efficient and kind. The sushi was delicious! The pad Thai was unreal too. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I enjoy this sushi so much that I would not mind eating the same for an entire week. Excellent service and nice presentation, but the taste is something else... I will definitely order again very soon, maybe tomorrow!!

This place was such a lucky find for us! The food was delicious and we enjoyed it with a view of the beautiful fjord. What more could you want?
The restaurant is a bit hard to find, as it just opened (February) and is out of the chefs house. That being said, Sergio was wonderful with everything.
