Amazing food, staff, and service at Villalobos Kitchen!! The chef recommended the aguachiles as a starter and it did not disappoint! The shrimp tasted so fresh and the mango pieces gave it a beautiful pop of color and flavor. Jamaica is my favorite agua fresca and the one here was absolutely delicious. As entrees my friend and I shared the enchiladas and fish tacos. The homemade enchilada sauce was everything!! Seriously bury me in that sauce. I loved the addition of a kale salad to the enchilada plate. The fish tacos had an excellent light breading that really allowed the fresh flavors of the fish to shine through. This place is easily one of the best places for good Mexican in Long Beach. I had the enchiladas Rojas and everything on the plate was AMAZING. The family that runs this are the sweetest people. Their passion for the food shows in everything. The Sonoran salsa was exceptional. I know a few people who have had The Hawaiian steak and the lobster tail who raved about them. We’ll definitely be back. Breakfast menu I haven’t tried but it looks awesome. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Holy smokes, best service in town. Came in for a business meeting. The staff was lovely and the food was fresh and delicious. I don’t know what it’s like during rush hour since this was my first time here. 1pm on a Thurs was PERFECT. Street parking was limited, but they do have a small parking lot in the back.
