Absolutely incredible and innovative food! Especially the Empanadas I would highly recommend. They come with different stuffings, and I cannot pick a favourite, because they're all so delicious!! Salads and vegan Paella are amazing as well, with a little Filipino touch, it makes it exclusive and extraordinary. I'm not a sweet-tooth but the Cinnamon Cake has the perfect amount of sweetness in it. 11/10 Wish they would sell closer to where I live 🙏🏽😊. The owners are lovely as well and very helpful if you're new to the "vegan" / "vegetarian" food-field.

Been coming to this lovely place as often as I can, it's a cozy chill place, offers awesome selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes and pastries with warm Mediterranean flavors. the talented chef puts real focus on the quality of the food, and every week some creative ideas and innovations are displayed in her dishes. the dishes are made from locally produced organic products, in combine with good selection of organic natural wine from Spain and Italy, and many other organic delicacies. The price is more than fair for the hearty delicious food it has to offer, the place is a truly hidden gem in Den Helder!

On our first tour trough north of Holland we looked for a place to have lunch with vegan options and we made the best of the choices, delicious food, super friendly and generous people. It was a nice snuggle on this rainy day. Thank you for everything, for sure we want to come back one day.

Really nice and cozy place! Amazing selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, very friendly people! And the food tastes amazing, so much flavour and good quality. I read after that most is organic and/or local, which makes this place even better! Highle reccomend, especially the empanadas and salad choices! Looking forward to comming back and try the pastries!

The Vega take away was very cozy, nice food and above all a fantastic host/owner who was not only friendly but was patient with all our questions. Highly recommend for a clean and healthy food which is quite different than the contemporary food available in the area.

Cozy take away in the center of Den Helder with lots of vegatarian and vegan choices. I can especially recommend the variety of salads and the fluffy banana cake!
The shop owners are very kind and the prices are more than reasonable.

My sister and I visited Den Helder for a short vacation and discovered this quaint little vegetarian/vegan restaraunt which we ended up going to every single day. Aside from a wide assortment of delicious salads, latin snacks/tapas and desserts, there is an exciting, daily menu that you can enjoy. This place is worth it people! It's delicious, it supports local farmers with its ingredients and the owner is a lovely lady who will make sure you are always served magnificent and healthy food in a comfortable and homey setting. We will visit again if we are in Den Helder.
