Food is alright, and service took too long. The terrace was probably understaffed. The vegan burger is a Beyond burger, served with sweet potato fries. The burger bread didn’t go very well with the patty. The sweet potatoes fries were not crispy, but soft and soggy. Great thing is you can order the side dishes as much as you’d like. Unfortunately there’s was a hair in the asparagus sauce.

I've eaten here a few times. The last time will absolutely be my last time. The place is disgusting but acts like an high class restaurant. The place is dirty, which is confirmed by the amount of flies landing on your food. There's cobwebs everywhere and looks like the windows haven't been cleaned in ages. The food was okay but I want better than okay because I can do better than okay at home. The service is unbelievably bad. There was a party of 10 in and at one point had 5 waitresses serving them while we had to wait almost an hour after we finished the food to get the attention of a waitresses to get another drink. This is the most pretentious place in Alphen aan den Rijn, it tries to be a five star restaurant with one star service, food and atmosphere, at best. Delicious menu, very friendly waitresses. Cosy atmosphere and nice view 👍 Meal type Dinner
Service was okay, certain things we ordered were missed and with dessert we had to ask for spoons twice. Food itself is perfect, my wife never ate a better Caesar salad! Angus steak was perfectly prepared
I think the food was good, but unfortunately the service has a problem. They bought our order wrong and it took a couple of minutes for the waiter to believe us when we said that we ordered something else instead. The second time that he came, he did apologise for the mistake. At some point my husband wanted a second glass of wine and was trying to order for a while. A waiter saw us, I lifted my hand so he would approach us, and my husband showed him his glass and said that he would like a second one (in english) and the waiter replied in dutch "Yes I see that it's empty"! Wow! Really no idea what his problem was, and what offended him, but he never brought us the wine and shocked of his behaviour, we left without ordering anything else. Pity because the food was ok and we wanted to try the deserts too. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
