First things first, I enjoyed the lasagna. I got an “Individual Portion” ($10+). I’m going to recommend ordering a “Family Portion” for half again as much. Might be more of a value. (Disclaimer, I haven’t compared sizes). The sauce is sweet. Don’t expect “fancy”. The “meaty sauce” just had what looked like tiny premade meatballs from a bag. I am okay with that.
Why did I score them 3 out or 5 stars? I almost scored them a 2, but decided on 3 last minutes.
I ordered a “Cheese Roll” ($3+). They charged me $3.30 for a cheap, hamburger bun with some shredded cheese on it! This is almost enough for me to consider never going back. I wondered why it wasn’t pictured, now I know.
Interaction with staff was fine. No complaints. The gentleman was proficient and patient. I was welcomed coming in, and thanked on my way out.
Recommendations:
-Order ahead. It took about 20 minutes for lasagna and a toasted hamburger bun. The Lobby isn’t a comfortable place to wait. Think waiting at a Little Ceasar’s.
-consider a family portion vs an individual. For about $5 more, it looks like you could get 2-4 meals out of it.
-Do NOT order the cheese “roll”. It is a hamburger bun. Simple sesame seed hamburger bun.
I really did enjoy the lasagna. I hope you give it a try. Just skip the cheese “roll”…. I will not let this go.

Being an Omaha native, I LOVE Valentino's! I was so excited to see this business opening up in our neighborhood. I do miss the buffet aspect, but grabbing that familiar pizza to bring home makes me happy as well. We did an online order and had about a 10min wait from pickup time, which wasn't bad in my opinion for a Friday night. The storefront was clean and the team was all welcoming. We tried a pizza and the breadstick mixture. We will definitely be back!

Best lasagna and breadsticks in town. Besides fresh food to go, they also have frozen lasagna and pizzas in a freezer available to purchase.
Update: We continue to get food here on a regular basis. The service from the staff is great. They are very friendly and helpful. Also, we just realized recently that they have a drive up windows that you can use.
They are back! Just opened and still working thru the start up. We tried to call in order on Saturday at 4pm with no answer. Then went into the store on Sunday about 11:30. Placed order and quoted 20 minutes which was spot on. There is not really dining in. They had about 10 seats which would be bar seating, but mostly full of people waiting. The food was hot and tasted just like the original flavor we have enjoyed. Pricing seems a little high. We had lasagna, bread sticks, and ordered some macaroni salad. They do have a cooler with pizza ready to take home and bake. We will be back.

This is the 2nd bad pizza in a row. Not much sauce, dry crust and funny taste. Called the store and spoke with the manager and were given the standard apology along with the offer of making another one. Why would we want three in a row of bad pizza. When they first opened they were very good but not anymore. I have had better frozen pizza. Go elsewhere!.

Absolute rip off! $70 for 2 pizza’s and Val’s garlic rolls. The Val’s garlic rolls is 2 hamburger buns with cheese. Definitely not the old Valentino’s I knew…. Would not recommend to my worst enemy!

The pizza was disappointing. The chicken was chopped to pieces smaller than the bacon bits. No texture, tasted like a greasy cheese pizza with limp crust cut in uneven bits of squares. Will probably never go back. Chicken Bacon ranch was what I ordered.

Ordered over $50 worth of food to get home to discover our salad was missing, which may not seem like a big deal to most but when that is the only thing your kid will eat it does make it a big deal especially when you try to call the restaurant and no one answers! And now they are closed! Now I need to figure out what to feed my child when it was supposed to be an easy dinner night! Very upsetting as this was the first time trying them since they came back to town!!

Ordered gf crust with no cheese for celiac wife. Opened it at home and found black pizza, sauce and crust. Very disappointed with lack of quality. Have eaten at Val’s for nearly 60 years. After this, we may never darken the doorway again. Ever.

Family loved the chicken bacon ranch and the pepperoni cream cheese! The pizza came hot and the driver was kind. Nice to have more food options on Ellis.
