You might think … Missouri, should probably go for a burger and fries. Don’t do it and stop by this place. We ate at a lot of high end places from St. Louis to Nashville. The Wine Rack’s food beat all of them and the chefs finesse here was amazing. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but on the inside, it’s a culinary wonderland that you need to get lost in. Indulge in the fantastic steaks or have a simpler pasta dish. It’s all expertly prepared just like the big time kitchen crews of the world would do it. If you have time in your trip through or just need a great place for a fancy date night, this is place. Great service, great food, great restaurant. Worst experience, the wife and I decided to take make the 1.5 hour trip up to poplar bluff to check this restaurant out since it looked pretty good from the photos. Unfortunately it was a disaster. We ordered the mussels for an app and the tasted fish and gritty, only ate like 3. My wife ordered the seared scallops, with rice and there was like 1/2 inch of oil on top, she tried one bite and about vomited. I had the burger and it was extremely salty for no reason. This location is right off of the highway. It does not look like much from the outside but the inside is really cute. Thee atmosphere seemed very open and relaxing. I did get a winery vibe from the wine barrels and the beautiful lights that have been strung up.They have all different types of Alcohol. You can find beer, wine and Whiskey. The air conditioner was low so it was very cool and comfortable. The inside was extremely clean in my opinion. Our waiter was very friendly and outgoing he was the only one waiting on all of the tables. I feel like he did an amazing job of keeping everyone everyone's drinks filled. He remembered everything our order was correct and he did check on us frequently. I tried out the $6 wine flight. I wanted to try something different because I mostly drink whiskey but I decided to give wine a try. I don't really like wine so I wouldn't order it again but but $6 for the wine flight was a really good price. I think the next time I will try I some of the different types of ciders that they had. My husband and my friends is tried a German beer and a Brazilian beer. Is they really liked the German beer the most. For our appetizer we chose the cheese with olives and a fruit puree. The cheese flavor is not too strong it's really nice.I would describe it as a light cheddar flavor. I am not sure but I think the cheese was mozzarella. The Cheese was inside of bread that was some sort of croissant. The Croissant was very light and soft it had a wonderful buttery flavor. Is for our meal we had a Rubin sandwich with an Aju sauce We also added a side of grilled asparagus and cheese risotto. My husband enjoyed the ruben sandwich he said it had a great roast beef flavor and enjoyed the cheese that was on it. Our asparagus was really small but it taste really good. Is the risott to was not cooked all the way so we didn't finish it. The flavors was wonderful but it was still very firm. Is our friends shared a steak dinner with vegetables. They ordered their steak medium and it was cooked as they ordered it. The Vegetables were cooked perfectly they were not overcooked and they were seasoned. Is our friends have been in popular bluff for 3 weeks we have eaten at a lot of different locations. They said so far this was their favorite meal. They said the steak was perfect. I am giving 5 starts because overall everything was wonderful. We waited over a hour for spin dip and pita it wasn’t very good but we could have gotten pass that but our server didn’t smile and wasn’t to friendly so we decided to just pay and leave . After being gone for a few hours I noticed I forgot my cell phone at the restaurant and we went back for it and the server said the people at the bar was taking good care of it and had let them take pictures of the each other and the servers . I was very disappointed that someone that worked there would just pass my phone person to person. I absolutely will not be back after this Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Used to be great must have new owner ? July 2019 How things change, 30 minutes waiting for a sandwich, not good after two bites I hope I dont get sick. Service terrible we were the only ones there and still took 30 minutes to get a meal. Will not be going back. Fyi dont ask to use the wifi, they will tell you it does not work. And the prices....wow

The food was excellent, and they had some unique items. Took over an hour to get our food on a weeknight. We were on the second level, very dark, due to many lights out. The waitress had no idea what wines they had, and they did not have a wine list. They said go down stairs and look. Love the food. Service needs work. We did have a party of 9. Awesome place to chill with some buddies. Really relaxed and chill environment and it’s an easy place to meet new people and old friends. I definitely recommend their strawberry daiquiri, ask for Brittney, she’ll fix you up right!
