Little BBQ joint with big flavor. The buffalo wings were cooked beautifully and the sauce, though not terribly hot, had great flavor. The fried mushrooms had a light and airy batter. The mac & cheese was creamy and the noodles had perfect texture. The brisket grilled cheese was aah-maz-zing!! Sweet potato tots, who does that?! They were sick! The ribs were dry but the sauce took care of that. The staff, a brother-sister duo, were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. When we walked in and no one was there, we were a little scared and tempted to leave, but we were very glad we decided to stay. The barbecue ribs were some of the best I've eaten. They have a really good peppery rub. They get smoked for 12 hours, so there is a beautiful smoke ring and they fall right off the bone. The pork sliders were also delicious, especially with the mango slaw. The barbecue beans were delicious. They use a secret ingredient which they will tell you if you eat at the restaurant. The macaroni and cheese was homemade. I could eat that for a meal by itself. The staff was super friendly, and the restaurant is really cute inside. If you’re anywhere near a Wigglin Pig or a Pigglin Wig, it’s best you know what to do with each. If it’s a Wigglin Pig, why of course you eat it. If it’s a Pigglin Wig, you wear it like you would any wig. So, I guess what I’m sayin is you should wander into Wigglin Pig whilst wearing your Pigglin Wig and eat some delicious food. Good luck deciding what to eat off that menu jammed with amazing food selections. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This place was great. The family loved their food and the service was great. The waitress was fun and friendly and kept up with our needs. The water was wet and the ice was cold. What more can you ask for after spending the day in Mesa Verde. I had the beer cheese pretzel burger with mac and cheese. They even burned my burger just the way I asked. The wife had the porky and drunken cow sliders with fries and side salad. Thing 1 and thing 2 had side salads with side mac & cheese. Thing 3 got the firecracker burger with mac & cheese. Borrowed thing 4 got porky and piglet and blue cow sliders with mac & cheese. All made with love and superb. We will be back next time we travel through Cortez. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Great breakfast, best country fried steak I've had in a while. Lunch items are just as good. It is a smaller venue compared to the old location but the food is just as good. Highly recommended for breakfast and lunch, you won't be disappointed. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Looks like the place downsized it's location and menu. There was still enough to get good food, though I was disappointed that there was no side salad which was mentioned even on their abbreviated menu. The best thing by far was the sliders - I ordered a pulled pork one, and two with the pork belly. They were all really good - I liked how crispy the outside of the pork belly was. The special combos of sauces, jams, etc was like art. My parents ordered brisket, which they liked. The green chili and beans were a bit sweet for my taste. Coleslaw was also a bit sweet but I liked it more. One thing to note is that there was about a 4% fee for paying with card. It was unfortunate that they didn't tell us about that before we paid, we had to see it on the check and find out ourselves.

We stopped here for lunch as we passed through town and we’re surprised at the superb flavors, variety of options and the “home-made” approach to the menu. We had burgers that were done to perfection. The sides are better than you will expect. The friendly waitress suggested we try the dessert, which was cinnamon roll bread pudding. Very unique, with excellent flavor. All of this for what I felt was a very reasonable price. You will be happy if you stop here.

Great BBQ restaurant with a darling shaded patio overlooking a nicely landscaped desert garden. We were traveling with our puppy and we're happy to find a place that welcomed her on the patio. The food was great and the staff very welcoming. We loved the sausage sandwich, a grilled cheese brisket, baked beans, mac and cheese and fries. Everything was delicious. You will be happy if you choose to eat at this restaurant. Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Mac and Cheese
The Wigglin' Pig is an absolute treasure in Cortez. Their sliders were incredible. The meat was perfect. The coleslaw was delicious. So many options to choose from- you won't be disappointed! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I got the brisket grilled cheese sandwich with a side of cheesy potatoes. Absolutely incredible. I could only eat half of it, and had to get the rest to go. The service was good at lunch time. The young lady serving was delightful, friendly, and very attentive. The atmosphere was somewhat quiet and seemed kind of sparse, but it felt clean and well maintained. Prices weren't bad for the amount of food (especially how much meat was on the sandwich). Though, the mac-n-cheese seemed a little high. However, I did not order mac-n-cheese, so it may have been a massive serving of it. Overall, I would definitely go again.
