They have the best ribs in town now. The ribs are succulent and tender with generous portion of the sides too. I haven’t found other place in the Netherlands that has this finger licking good ribs after our favorite restaurant permanently closed. This place is old but they kept it pretty original and clean. Situated just outside the city skirts, the road there is lovely when there’s sunlight. Also you might hear surprising loud greetings in Brabant accents, but that what makes the place ‘unique’ I guess. Service was swift and friendly this time. I’ve come other times and the waiters had ‘different’ attitude back then. Only one lad was attentive and understood the meaning of hospitality. But overall 5 star based on the ribs (every time) and the experience (this time)

A charming place with a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. We stopped by only for a drink and ice-cream, could not but order a delicious apple pie. This smiling fish will make your day better no doubt about it 🐠😊

Pork Ribs
As good a local pub as one could wish for. I'm happy to have lived close to the Laughing Fish for the last 15 years. Similar to any great pup, it should be a home from home.
