Very good ambience, amazing service , staff is very welcoming, food is out of this world, this place serves halal food not only is this famous among Muslims but also norwegains and other nationalities were in good number. Food is great, had the Kebeh, Falafel, and Hummus with bread. For dessert I had the Katajef. Server was friendly and thoughtful. Space is comfortable and has a nice outside area. We visited for Valentine's day and they staff managed to conjure up a table for me and my significant other. Ordered the steak and it was just perfectly filling. Nothing special but it's q decent meal. Prices are excellent and the staff was very professional, (though a bit stressed out; which I think is acceptable on Valentine's day). A friend recommended this place and I'm so glad we tried it! Everything was delicious and had a beautiful presentation! My husband has been craving lamb shank but is admittedly picky about its quality - he LOVED it! It was so tender it practically fell off the bone, but wasn't overly fatty. the flavor was fantastic and the au jus and sides paired perfectly. The chicken filet was also delicious. Large portions. We also ordered several small sharing appetizers that had excellent flavor. On Mondays they have a special: burger+fries+beer for 199kr. English menus available if needed. Absolutely gorgeous food, highly recommend the lamb shank and the Akkar! A delightful culinary experience to be had in a wonderful setting, the shisha is also a must try, with the ability to mix as many flavours as one wishes! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

This restaurant was a life saver! When we arrived in Kristiansand 1.5 weeks ago, it was late, and we couldn't find food anywhere. That's when we were recommended this place, and man am I happy about that! Both me and my wife had amazing, tasty meals, with great staff and service. we sat down to drink a coffee that is made in Greece and it was awful as an excuse the boss said that he doesn't have the right machine to make it! the food is very expensive village salad 250 kr!!!!! very expensive they steal the world and very bad quality! I ordered the fish of the day which was a whole white fish. It had a lot of bones as Mediterranean fish usually have, but they were big enough to be found and removed. The sauce was of the Spanish Mojo type, red and spicy with chilli and garlic. The place was not crowded so the staff were around and commenting so the atmosphere was similar to a local restaurant on the coast of Spain.
