We love stopping by the Rooting Pig! The menu is creative and makes great use of local foods. We typically share a couple of appetizers and one of the BAF sandwiches. It's a wonderful spot to sit outdoors at picnic tables on the lawn overlooking the meadow on a sunny day. Often there are families with small children playing, visiting the pigs, etc. Really just a nice spot to visit, shop and eat. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

When I saw this place had a perfect 5 stars I was not surprised one bit! We arrived early and with our pup. They were very accommodating and friendly. We ordered the deviled eggs which are a MUST as they are the most delicious deviled eggs I’ve ever had. You can also walk around the farm to see the sunflowers or the pigs! Will be recommending this place! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Easy 5 stars. They do an awesome job. Rooting pig is a home run every time. Store/ Market offerings always on point. Very unique vibe as well. Not going to find anything quite like it in close proximity. Staff is professional and knowledgeable. Owners/ their entire family are great! Couldn’t recommend more whether if you are visiting, summer, or local. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great place to grab a meal or provisions. Many of their own products (try the Portuguese hunters sausage or fennel salami) & mostly Maine provisions from beer to cheese to pork to spices to wines. Outdoor tables/bar with charcuterie boards & other dishes (the mission figs with a red wine reduction & goat cheese were to drive for)
We visited today with family and friends on Sunday and had an absolutely fantastic time! Incredible farm and the owners and staff were amazing and so accommodating! We had the best charcuterie board and several appetizers, beer and wine. We also took a walk to see the baby pigs and chickens. Fantastic spot and experience a must see in the area!
Great place to stop for a snack or sandwich. Outdoors with a very limited menu, but the food was great. We shared a couple of small plates and really liked the pigs wings. There a a small farm market related to the restaurant with a nice array of farm products. Definitely worth the visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This place is worth it. An awesome destination with very tasty charcuterie and selections of beer, wine, cider, and mocktails. Their market is perfect for your shopping and their meat is not notch. Make Broad Arrow you next destination.

This place is absolutely delicious. You are in the middle of a field, not expecting much. We ordered one plate, to try, and we were pleasantly surprised. We ended up ordering most of the things on their menu. This is a delightful stop and if you are looking for a delicious place to stop in south maine, even though its out of the way…. This place is worth the drive. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Had a lovely evening celebrating Bastille Day on the farm! The food was excellent; some of the best we've had in coastal Maine this year. Very good wine recommendations (and of course good Maine beers on the menu). And can't beat the peaceful setting on a nice summer evening. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
