This bar has a long rich history (my grandfather owned it from 1970-1996 ). It was a speakeasy during prohibition. The speakeasy was back and upstairs, with the upstairs having a pool table and a poker area. There was a bakery in the front that sold "kits" the kits contained fruit/sugar and yeast with xplicit instructions not to mix with water and let it fermit for 2 weeks in a cold dark place lol
It is one of Detroits' oldest neighborhood bars.
New owners are great people who care about the bar and neighborhood. Affordable place to relax and shoot pool.
