The Lobster & Ox offers a unique dining experience. It was my first time trying lobster, and I was not disappointed. The food touched the right spots of the tongue. Each bite had a unique taste. The staff was super friendly and ensured we had good interactions. The meals are pricey but given for the place and the meal choices. Had a super yummy dinner. Started with the steak tartare, which was spicy! bit really nice. Th very friendly waitress advised against putting extra pepper on.. and she was right! For mains I had the lobster thermidor, good balance between lobster and sauce. I was still able the enjoy the actual lobster without a dominating sauce. Staff very friendly and my style of music (kind of club house/dance). Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €70–80

Expensive compared to quality..Food wasn't fresh.. lobster was squeaky and meat flavorless and we had to ask for it to go back on the grill cause it was bloody, even if it looked good.. I got the impression the veggies were frozen before..plate came hot, like it was in the microwave before... starter was good but very expensive to what you get (some warm veggie salad for 14euro). The waiter was very nice and attentive though. I most enjoyed the company the wine and the fries, which I could have gotten in any other restaurant I guess.

The location is great and so is the food. To be fair, I am confident in saying that at Lobster & Ox I had the best lobster ever. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lobster with rice and curry is a must try. Fresh lobster and prepared really tasty. Best part of the restaurant is the way to the toilet with full of mirror. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €100+

The food was not good, the wine was very nice and the staff was attentive and very friendly. My main complaint is about the food: The appetizer was covered in a generic mustard and i could not taste any of the other ingredients, the starter was steamed oysters that turned out to be a bad combination between Dutch oysters and Thai cuisine. The soup was supposed to be a bisque but turned out to be a frothy very flat tasting Tomkakai soup with half a lobster in it (lobster was cooked very nicely), the main course (mixed steak and lobster) was accompanied by carrots that tasted like soap, the steak was spicy and tasted like water. I did not dare to order a dessert.... The music was better suited for a beach bar in Phuket. The overall impression that I got, was that there was way more attention to decor and appearance then the actual menu/food. I will not be coming back.

We went there last night. Ordered truffle risotto and lobster spaghetti. The risotto was not cooked properly, it was gross not al dente. The server also shaved truffle on. The truffle was so bland. The cocktails were 15€ so we passed on that. Service was very meh. Nice looking place without good food.

The food was truly amazing, but we got a table next to the door resulting in a constant draft as people were constantly leaving to smoke. When a big group of people started to leave they were leaning and even sitting on our table, very unpleasant, not acceptable if you pay over hundred bucks pp.
