Awesome time here, we spent 3 nights here and loved every minute! Between the beach and the roof top pool/hot tub it was amazing! Only negative was the cost for breakfast. Almost $100 for two people for the buffet. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to “Speggtacular” breakfast there was fast and fresh! And a fraction of the cost!

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here! Our server, Jordan, was sweet and attentive. The views and food was phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back. Must get the chili con queso!

I did not have to deal with parking since I was staying on Clearwater Beach and just walked over. The lobby at the JW is very welcoming. Take the elevators up to the rooftop. You can easily make a reservation on Open Table. I ordered the crispy shrimp and it was great. Paired it with a glass of frose. A perfect way to unwind and watch the sunset on Clearwater Beach. The views from the bar and sitting areas are unobstructed. You can also head out to the pool area for sunset if you happened to be seated at an inside table without a view. . What a great experience. I’ll be back for sure!
My wife and I had dinner reservations for a nice quiet meal. Had the Wagyu and lomo saltado, the food was amazing! The views, the staff and the atmosphere are incredible! We loved it and will be back! I am also a titanium elite member who uses Marriott for work and pleasure! Nice job…

We had a dinner for our anniversary. We were greeted nicely and given a great table to watch the sunset. The overall dinner experience was fair to good with the problem with either the server or the food prep/chef not providing or following the request my wife had to NOT have a spicy aioli mixed in her food. Well they brought out both meals and she immediately noticed the problem. The server apologized and said she will correct it. The only problem was that I was left with my meal and by the long period it took for them to return with my wife’s meal (the server didn’t bring it), I was done with my meal. I was then left to watch her eat her meal. When the server showed up she asked if the meal was correct now. Later she offered “on the house” dessert but we weren’t interested. We left our anniversary dinner greatly underwhelmed with the experience and even more disappointed with how their mistake was handled. One option would have been to take back both meals and offer us an appetizer to hold us over.

The Deep End Restaurant at the JW Marriott on Clearwater Beach provides beautiful oceanfront dining with relaxing Florida keys-style decor.
As you enter the restaurant, the décor evokes a laidback, kinda island vibe.
The bar area continues the relaxed atmosphere with some house made drinks.
The windowless seating allows you to feel the ocean breeze as you dine on fresh seafood and enjoy in roof top view of the channel.
The menu is small but the orders were of nice size and delicious.
The staff was accommodating and well trained.
Quick shout out to Maria who took care of us. She is witty, quick and a delight to have as part of our dining experience.
Will definitely go back again!

I normally never write a review, even if the product is good. lol I just feel like there is so much information out there, you know what i mean? anyway, my bf and i stayed in Clearwater for about a week and on the last day before heading back home i found this place and it was walking distance from our hotel! :)
As soon as you walked in everyone was so friendly and welcoming. (I do wish they had clear signs about where things are as the restaurant is on the 11th floor) Our waitress was Argelia, she made sure everything was perfect and on time, her suggestions were fantastic and she was incredibly personable. My bf and i go out to eat often but this kind of genuine hospitality isnt really something you see anymore.
Everything she suggested was delicious and we couldnt decide on a desert so we ordered two and we cleaned the plates! LOL The food was amazing, do yourself a favor and please go visit them if youre around the area. We gave her a great tip because she deserved it, overall great experience! x

Two visits in three days left us in purgatory. We returned for the Peruvian / Asian dishes. Bao tacos and nicely done fish dishes. Servers were eager , managers friendly but then came the night of the forgotten table. We waited over a half hour to get a drink (no apology). Rinse repeat on the dinner but this was next level neglect , looking around they were scrambling to get food out to all the tables but the chaos led to some getting served in a relatively timely fashion and us being cloaked in anonymity. When after a 90 minute plus delay , our food arrived in one whoosh , again just chirpy talk , no worries no offers , and final twist of the sushi knife , most food was at room temp. Staffing was obviously an issue and post pandemic this realm of dining experiences is all too familiar feeling but cmon , the one redeeming card they could’ve played they kept to their vests , offer to pay for drinks or a dessert or something? So this is a swanky new spot in a higher end new hotel , it begs for better execution and management!

To say I was completely overwhelmed by this incredible view (when you walk up) - is still an understatement! This place will be reservation only soon. We tried many small plates, (yes on the yucca fries and chicken Bao-Bun) - everything was great, came at the perfect time and were very hot and the sauces were perfectly blended. Rachael was fantastic. I can’t say enough about this restaurant. Who knew as a local this slice of land would create one of the best hotels around? Locals, your going to love this during off-season
