The atmosphere pendulum swings far in a few specific directions <assumedly due to the of the neighborhood feel of this area>. Lots of families at dinner on a Saturday night. Very casual attire. The crowd here is too inconsistent for my preference but the staff is always great and the food quality consistent. If you’re wanting a great pickup food spot or a spot to have a beer and watch a game, this is a solid choice. Alyssa (if my memory serves me) is usually working bar and she’s great. Love the food, I get the chicken and waffles every time I go, my boyfriend gets the chicken sandwich which he loves. He normally loves spicy food, the Texas hot was enjoyable but he went back to medium due to how spicy it was and he can take some heat. Mild is perfect for someone who wants a bit of spice. The macaroni is amazing, I could eat a whole tub of it. Amazing staff and amazing food. We Come here weekly since we found it. Hi Cookshack, I tried a lot of hot chicken and this doesn’t really impress me as much. This kind of tastes similar to what I currently make at home from a recipe I found on Google except Cookshack adds more spice to it. The Texas Hot isn’t all too hot as I thought it would be. Dragons fries are decent.. wish it has more flavor. I had amazing customer service and everything came out quickly! Overall, I would likely give it another try. My best friend told me about this, and lord bless this place. The food is absolutely amazing and hits different when it's night! What you see here is the chicken and waffles, and the chicken I got is medium spice which is only two steps below the hottest spice and MAN OH MAN was it good!!! If you love spicy food, I recommend the medium because it's not too hot and not too mild. The Mac and cheese??? Oh let me tell you about that. It's thick, cheesy, and so dang good!!! It has hints of bacon too. The waffles???? Not overly sweet, and the butter has hints of cinnamon. The syrup also is delicious though its more liquid-y than thick. My friend also ordered the dragon fries for the table and those are sooooo good too! Also all the drink you can drink! (Soda and tea) though there is a bar also. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Alyssa was AMAZING. Super friendly. 100% recommend! Didn't get a picture of the kids' because they ate too fast. But everything was on point and affordable. We tried honey mustard, house sauce, spicy fries, macaroni, coleslaw, waffle fries, ribs, tenders, salad, and chicken sandwich. The food was good but the service was the worse ever. We waited 25 mins for our two meals, three strips plus a side for each of us (my husband and I). Not sure why it took forever for the meals to come out. The cooks in the back instead of working they were checking out female guests. The three girls at the front counter seem distracted and not attentive either. We did not see management team. Jonathan, the young lead shift or manager must have been off at the time. We are regular guests at this location and surprised to see the service deteriorated. To top it off, we understand if the restaurant was busy and they're running behind but there were only a few guests (these guests were there eating already upon our arrival). I was really pleased with everything!!! The chicken and waffles were sooooo good!!! The chicken tenders were juicy and well seasoned. The lemonade was very good as well. The young man who took our order was friendly and very attentive. The decor is cute and very clean. This is an amazingly tasty fried chicken location on Bay Area, very conveniently located just a bit off of I45. I had the Chicken and Waffles, mild, with a sauce that I can't quite remember, but was pleasantly seasoned. The chicken tenders are exceptionally well battered and juicy, while the waffles were succulent and had a consistently almost of pancakes. The mac and cheese was extremely cheesy and I would definitely recommend it as a side - though I hear great things about the spicy fries as well. The chicken sandwich was delightful with the refreshing slaw, though I think I prefer the tenders from the chicken and waffles. I was also confirm on a later visit that the spicy dragon fries are quite good, though similarly, the Mac and cheese catches my fancy somewhat more. Great food and service. Definitely recommend getting the Mac & Cheese as a side. Everyone has their own "heat" level when it comes to spiciness; personally I like "Medium" on the Chicken Tenders which his a nice kick but not overpowering or too hot. Wonderful atmosphere! So chill and fun. Beautiful decor. Food was incredible, such crispy chicken, killer sauces!!! Fries were so crunchy and seasoned perfectly. 10/10 will be back.
