Quaint breakfast haven with a delightful blend of classic diner charm and hip vibes. The breakfast Chili Rellenos surpassed my expectations with their amazing taste. The service was good, but unfortunately the food was not. There are a good amount of options on the menu but the breakfast burrito and potatoes were sub par (despite looking good) and the waffle was very disappointing. Same for the coffee. Not worth prices that were much higher than typical diner food. We went to support Englewood businesses so hopefully this was an exception for Breakfast Queen rather than the norm! This is sweet. Sundays are bustling, but the whole staff work hard to get everyone to a seat. Get on the wait list early. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere. This is good old American dining at its finest. Parking and entering from the east works best because of the layout inside. Here's where I found that perfect cup of black coffee that makes me want to be a regular. Nothing bad at this restaurant plum. Had the best biscuits and gravy, hash browns, eggs, and bacon. They hit it out of the park. The wait, though short, is worth it. The biscuits are melt in your mouth with the best country thick sausage gravy. Woot!! Great service and very pleasant servers that smile and look at you. Very personal. From the time you walk in this place you get fast service. I always come in the back door and the ladies are always attentive and get you seated quickly! I get the Mountain man skillet…. It’s the best skillet I’ve ever had… their green chili is FANTASTIC in my opinion. My buddy got the mass confusion and was very pleased with that! Other buddy got the Country Fried Skillet and that looked, smelled and tasted amazing. The potatoes always have a nice crisp to them and the food always comes out fast. Nice place. Friendly servers. Great food and plenty of it. Smothered breakfast burritos look amazing. Enough food for me for a week. I would like to see portions a bit smaller as I am not a huge eater and prices drop a bit as well. Maybe have options. Half vs full size.

I had some early morning time to kill and popped in for breakfast. Great service, very quick kitchen, and perfectly cooked eggs. My server never let my coffee cup go empty, despite being the only server for a relatively busy Friday morning rush. I got the veggie skillet which was delicious, but I'm very interested in trying their biscuits and gravy next time I'm in the area. I used to sing praises for this place, but somewhere along the line, they've lost it. Their prices have gone up while their service has greatly declined. I could barely get my coffee filled regularly or ask for extra napkins because the young lady tasked with serving me was too busy sitting at the counter on her phone. My advice: go to Louis' Diner on West Littleton Blvd or Hits The Spot Diner on West Colfax Ave; both are far superior to what Breakfast Queen has become.
