The small restaurant has only 4 tables, but offers a cozy atmosphere with hand-painted murals by the owner's friend, Rose. The menu is full of flavorful dishes that fuse flavors from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Columbia, and even France. The food is made to order and utilizes farm-to-table ingredients such as grass-fed meats and organic corn and beans from Mexico. The drinks are also high-end, with 100% agave tequila and margaritas that are strong and refreshing. The service is excellent, with the owner Anthony being incredibly friendly and welcoming. The Molletitos, Elote, Mole, Plantain Chips, House Shrimp Tacos, Chile en Nogada, Sopes, Gorditas, and Carnitas Keto Burrito Bowl are all highly recommended. The guacamole with roasted poblano peppers and corn is a great appetizer, and the steak enchiladas verde and tacos al pastor are both delicious. The Flan in a rum sauce is a great way to end the meal. Overall, Tavos Signature Cuisine is an amazing restaurant that is definitely worth the wait.
