Went there with my wife last night and was very disappointed. The tables were not clean and had food all over them, very unsanitary. Barbacoa tasted old, tamales were dry and had hardly any meat and I found a piece of plastic bag or something inside one of them. Spent $50 including a tip. We ended up throwing the food away. Great place! Good area to park, plenty of seating, friendly staff when I got there, and the proportion of food is perfect, not only that but the quality of the food is amazing It’s hard finding authentic Mexican food but this is authentic and very good I recommend it, I did a pick up order and it was ready on time as well and will be back here again to get food going forward and to eat in as well. This place was recommended to me by someone who said they used to live in Hillsboro and loved the tacos from Ochoa's. I thought i'd try them out.. Upon walking in i was hit with the smell of sitting water and possible mold..instead of delicious Mexican food. The air was chilled and not warm in any area of the restaurant. The cashier had very dirty hands and dirty long nails serving food to everyone on thin flimsy Styrofoam plates. The street tacos I ordered were old and cold and hard and lacked spice of any kind. Not even salt or pepper. More fat pieces than meat and I had to throw all 4 of them out. Wasting money and food. The locals really need to help fix Ochoa's by being honest about the quality of their food. Or ask what happened if they "USED TO BE GOOD?
