We ordered de Torta Texana w/fries and the chicken quesadilla plate. The price did not reflect the quality - you don’t get a lot of food and it was just okay. As you can tell by the pictures, they weren’t very generous with the meat on the torta, or the rice and beans with the chicken quesadilla. The torta was $10.99, the fries $4.99, and the quesadilla plate $11.99. They also charge a card fee. We did order the food to go so it’s possible that impacted the size of the rice and beans. I’m a big fan of Mom and Pop business so I always go in hoping to really enjoy my experience, unfortunately this time it was a miss . The atmosphere is great a taqueria connected to a convenience store Banda music blaring and a high energy in the kitchen . The wait was super long for 3 tacos ordered 1 large 2 small and they looked exactly the same in size .The flavor was lacking and had a bizarre after taste . I hope the best for them but it just didn’t cut it for me …. I’m from San Antonio Tx , I guess I’m just spoiled . Best tacos I’ve ever had. We got the birria tacos and were in and out within 5 minutes after ordering on a Saturday night. This will definitely be a go-to spot for our family.
