Great atmosphere. Great food. Great beer selection. Great price. Great people. Simple menus makes ordering easy. 3 nights in a row and it’s still amazing. If you’re not sure, order the Zoervleisj. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €10–20

Cute little bar/cafe in the heart of Sittard. The bar guys were nice and attentive. I loved my dinner: zuurvlees (local specialty of this region) with thick fries, real mayo, apple sauce and a big bowl of lettuce. Great meal for just 15€! My cocktail, Caribbean Oktoberfest, was also yummy 😋 I wasn't a very big fan of the decoration: lots of dark brown wood, shorts (or lederhosen?) hanging from the ceiling and in another section a bunch of tankards. Really bad communication. I sent them an email 1 week prior to make a reservation. They did not reply until 4 days later. I replied immediately, but no follow up for confirmation. I waited until the day before my requested date, still no reply. I called them and they told me they could not make the reservation for me. This is terrible customer server and really bad communication. Definitely will not come to this place. Edit: The owner called me not long after I wrote the review to apologize and explained the reasons. I think the restaurant should still have contacted me earlier. It shouldn't take me to leave a bad review for a response. But I appreciate his effort. For that, I think I will give it back some stars. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Service: 2

Great place to chill if you like craft beers. They have a bunch and will easily recommend you a few based on your regular preferences. Food is really good too and mostly traditional / local dishes.

107 beers on the menu. Table service, and free crisps whilst you drink their beer. Also a great view of the square to people watch. Win win all round. They also have a special Sunday eating coarse, on the menu. For a low price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunchtime meal here. I had the Flamkuchen or German pizza with bacon. Thin crust and utterly delicious. The wife had the Quiche with caramelized onions and goat cheese. Both were wonderful. I topped it off with a blonde beer recommended by the host. Quaint and charming. Courteous staff. Get their attention when you want something. I will happily eat here again.
