What a great place located right next door to my motel. You order at the front and then they bring you your food. AJ took my order, super nice guy, the food was awesome! I got the BBQ Pork Nachos, I loved them, big enough for a meal for one person. All the employees were super nice and kept checking on me. I'd go back tomorrow but they are closed on Sunday. Stopped here for dinner while in Durango. We got the sampler and the BBQ nachos. Everything was really good, except the chicken, which was amazing. The cornbread was a bit dry, and they were way understaffed, but the overall experience was definitely worth it. I am only out in that corner of the state every three or so months, but you can bet I'll be back. This was really good Louisiana style Barbecue. I mean southwest Colorado, mountain town, not exactly the bayou! You will not be disappointed. The meat is soft and wonderful smokey flavor. This restaurant is a gem tucked in a corner! Upon entrance, we were greeted and welcomed. The menu was explained to us proficiently. The daily specials are a must. The chicken on a stick and bowl of ribs was excellent. Our server was very attentive to our drinks. I would definitely come back again. Give it a try. There was a lot to take in with this experience. I'm not use to waiting a long time for a bbq order but they were pretty short handed and the wait was a little long, but once I got the food 🤌 my gawd was phenomenal their ribs some of the best I ever had, there bbq sauce was soft on and pulled pork hit right! After an amazing drive in and a few stops about town we stumbled onto this amazing hidden gem. It's authentic creole cooking. It even taste of Louisiana on every bite. Always one of the best places to come & eat in Durango. It’s hidden off the beaten path but oh so worth it. Highly recommend the barbecue platter, and you can’t leave without trying a shrimp Po boy! Everything is always seasoned well and brought hot to your table. A cute family friendly Restaurant where the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. Oh and don’t forget to try a strawberry daiquiri ya won’t be disappointed!

I LOVE Cajun food and BBQ and this is it! Perfect flavoring with the blackening and spices. The portions are very good for the prices. Check out the sampler if you can't decide. T's Smokehouse & Grill is hidden around the south end of the downtown shopping corridor, so take the time to search it out. The gumbo was VERY chunky with a myriad of meats!
