I had the delightful opportunity to dine at this establishment late last year, and it stands out as one of the most enjoyable Michelin Star restaurant experiences I've ever had. The ambiance exuded coziness and charm, nestled in a beautiful town that I specifically visited for this culinary gem. The service was attentive and informative, striking the perfect balance. Remarkably, every single dish exceeded expectations – a rarity at Michelin restaurants. Each dish was thoughtfully created with the freshest and finest ingredients, and it was evident that meticulous care went into crafting the menu. The menu items were expertly paired to create a purposeful and delightful dining experience. The Eel Pate and Foie gras left an indelible impression, truly mind-blowing. Great food in this two star Michelin restaurant in the picturesque town of Harderwijk. Pronounced and experimental flavors, mostly amazing, sometimes a little bit off (but that's the risk of experimenting). Passionate chef, very kind personnel. The 4 courses menu was a lot, perhaps a bit too much, but we just kept eating because most of it was delicious. We sat outside on the patio with a pretty view over the square. Great restaurant, certainly worthy of a Michelin star. Perhaps in the future they could focus a bit more on vegetarian food and non-alcoholic drinks, since options were limited in that regard. Highly recommended. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €100+
Cozy, high-quality Michelin restaurant in a cute town. 4 to 6 courses instead of 10 to 15, but each one has more filling than typical Michelin. Excellent wine pairing and very good service. Meal type Dinner Price per person €100+
For me/for us, its gonna be 5 stars. It’s our first time to experience this place and we can say that we loved the experience. From the beginning till end, staff were attentive and nice. The food combination with wine arrangement was superb! He had a nice pre-birthday experience as they also gave him a congratulatory dessert 😉
Excellent service, owner and main chef would greet and had a little chitchat with us, other stuffs are well trained and polite too. Some dishes are astonishing, e.g. the elderflower ijs oysters are very special and refreshing for summer. There are only two dishes, the Iberico pork dim sum and the coconut dessert, that i shall recommend to further improve or replace with something else. We had a six courses lunch plus oysters and wine, very full by the end and also one of the most expensive lunches we had, but we did enjoy. Its location is also a nice little town that worth walking around.

Stunning experience! [Welcoming bite] soft fried fish, juicy and sweet from the natural ingredients [Homemade bread with salted butter from Leiden] simple but yummy 😋 [DIY sandwich with beef and duck liver] Fun! The mustard/pickle are made into sorbet, spread on the muffin-like bread to create your own “sandwich” [Chicken “family combo”] including different parts of chicken: leg/ chest/ stomach/ liver etc with savory sauce. Mamamia!! [Tangerine dessert] start with the ball on the spoon which exploded in your mouth with overwhelming orange flower aroma! Amazing! The service is really friendly and the wine pairing recommendations are professional 🤝

I’ve had the pleasure to be at this place for the second time. I love the Charme of the restaurant. My mother and I had an wonderful evening, we’ve enjoyed the excellent service and the amazing dishes. We’ve had a four course menu and every course was a journey of pure taste. Thank you for our wonderful evening. (We were there at the 7/19/2019)

We had a special anniversary... we chose the perfect place for it... We had the 4 courses menu with wine pairing and it was pure heaven! Everything was succulent and the service awesome. Lots of attention that we really appreciated. We highly recommend this place for special occasions.
Anything short of a 5-star you read here is misinformation. Well deserved 2 Michelin stars, a chef that takes you to several places in the world but preferably Portugal on a plate, a sommelier that matches wines perfectly and hosts that are ever so amazing in making your visit unforgettable. Highly recommend the Carabineiro signature dish - I don't think you can eat this anywhere else. Can't wait to come by again! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
