Nice upmarket restaurant. Staff is very courteous and friendly. Menu is good. However the portion size are small and prices are high. Service is super slow for meals, Took us 3 hours for a 3 course meal. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €40–50 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Steak

Overall I think the restaurant deserves 3 stars. 1 star is given to the food itself. The food is quite ok, nothing’s exceeded expectation. Good value for money. 1 star is given to the location, easy to navigate and it has a parking lot. Last star is given to the service. They provide menu in Dutch and English, however, the 2 menu’s are not the same. It seems that the English menu is missing an entire page compared to the Dutch version. It’s not worth to pay a special trip there but if you pass by or live in the neighborhood, it’s worth to give a try.

This place is very lovely and the food is super delicious! The portion size is quite big and has a fair price as well. The lady was friendly and it was a nice experience.

This restaurant loooks nice but i waited like 1hour and 20 mins this restaurant is not worth it I’m disappointed 1/5. This is unacceptable. But the food looks nice and it’s tasty.

The food was a complete gastromic experience. Traditional Dutch food served with a twist of modern cuisine. Unlike many Dutch restaurants, it had excellent wines. It does deserve the Michelene star that it has had since 2012, every year until 2017. The service was just the right amount of nice, polietly asking withiut being pushy. If you are looking for a fancy yet cozy, traditional yet modern restaurant, visit this place. PS: About 50 pp with wine included.

I can’t say anything about the food because we never got to try it…. Really slow service!!! During one hour of being waiting we got a wine and two oyster, after complaining twice for the long waiting of the main dishes they just told us -“sorry, het is druk”- … most of the tables were in the same situation so we left.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and very nice service. We tried the menu du chef which may be different from time to time. The overall quality is quite delicate and the portion is actually not small for an adult. They also serve deer meat dishes which was a surprise. The steak is one of the best I ever had. Very juicy and tender. The flavor is light but lasting. It's a nice place to have a special dinner.

We've visited 't Gesprek about twice a year since 2009. It's always been a cozy place with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. The hostess is a good humoured lady who makes you feel welcome. It is such an incredible shame that the service level has dropped and we left disappointed with our experience the last two times we visited. Everything took so long and went so slowly both times. We had to wait 45 minutes before we could even order anything. This makes a simple 3 course meal last over 4 hours, leaving you with an empty table for most of that time. The food is good, but we won't be returning and that's a real shame.
