All their appetizers were phenomenal, even the octopus pancake. I thought the sushi would of been better, but it does not mean it's bad flavor. All their food is fresh and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I will try the noodles and other warm dishes next time Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Edamame

First time trying this place. Kenzie was server and pretty quick! We eat sushi couple times a month back home. The mountain log. Mochi ice cream dessert. Potato leak soup, gyorka with crab was AMAZING. And their vegetable fried rice is delicious! Food: 5 Service: 5

Our first time here was fantastic. The tempura was some of the best we've ever had, and we've eaten a lot of tempura. We all enjoyed the rolls we ordered even the one topped with New York steak. I loved the poke, a different flavor than I've had before but an improvement. My family did not like the different flavor of the gyoza. The cauliflower bisque was the real surprise. It sounded a little bland but was over the top delicious, I would order that again. The service was good but as they got busier we waited longer. We weren't offered additional beverages until we were done with the meal and we had to wait to pay the check. Overall a good experience, we would all eat here again. Ordered the california roll, I ate most of it without noticing anything but after closer inspection my friends and I noticed that the avocado in the roll was almost completely black, I brought this up with my server, she was super sweet about it and took the roll off my bill. I’m just posting this for awareness because this wasn’t okay, and I don’t want anyone or myself getting sick. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Syringa offers an American approach to sushi making. We received decent service, but the food was not great. Spider-Man had extreme amounts of garlic. Music was loud and this was not the experience that most people would be looking for from a sushi restaurant. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

This place gets packed so could be a wait (well worth the wait though). I have had sushi from all over the states, and this spot didn't disappoint. It's some of if not the best I have had around here. I ordered four rolls in total: The Godzilla, Green Goblin, Mountain and Anchor House. All was on point looking amazing and tasted delicious. My server was Kristin. I mention her because she had told me she was new, but did a exceptionally good job. She was very friendly, nice, helpful and knowledgeable. She came back and checked on me to see if I needed anything, and topped my water off without me having to ask for more. Thank you Kristin and the rest of the Syringa staff for not only the top notch service but the amazing food as well. Overall I give this place 5 out of 5 stars. It checks all the boxes: would I recommend it to a friend, atmosphere, would I come back, etc. The answer is a obvious yes, most definitely. Next time I am looking forward to trying the jalapeno poppers and or June Cleaver roll. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One of the most popular Japanese restaurants in town. They do reservations for half the restaurant, so be sure to call days ahead if you want a seat on the weekends! Great food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Syringa is an enjoyable and good dinning establishment to go to for food! They serve sushi and non-sushi options (perfect if you love fish and the other person going to lunch or dinner with you does not). The food is fresh and tasty for the most part. We did not love the watermelon civche it had a strange texture and super sweet. We love the style of tempura for those style of dishes here; light airy and crispy! The sushi was overall tasty however they did have a spicy wasabi or jalapeño? Sauce on one of the roles that was ridiculously spicy and over the top. The yakitori was great too. We were impressed as the pricing was super good so despite the food oddities we would come back if visiting cda. Let's start with what was good. The location is great. The ambience when you walk in is very nice, everything from the artwork to the neon dragon. Very aesthetic. However, the wait staff is pretty poor. Or, out server at least. The food is meh and it will cost you well over $100 for a party of four. Our waitress was especially terrible, we waited over 30 minutes just to get our check. She had already come to clear the table so she knew we were done, and we still waited 10 minutes to get our check, then it sat there with our credit card in it for another 10+ minutes. But she wasn't busy, she was just chatting with other employees all off these times, right in sight. Then, unfortunately, something must have been wrong with the fryer because anything that came out with tempura tasted bitter and burnt, even if it looked golden on the outside. The hostess was great (Asian girl with nose ring), they should promote her and let the blonde waitress with sleeve tattoo and suspenders go, as she was very rude and a terrible server. Save your money. Go eat somewhere else.
Wow! AWESOME 😎 sushi 🍣 place for friends to gather! I went there for the first time today and I'll surely be back. I'd heard good things about it for a while. The food was unique, I liked so much of what I saw on the menu. There were really a variety of options. The art 🎭 work and seating 🪑🍽️ arrangements throughout made an excellent ambiance. Looked like a lot of cool people 💑🧑‍🤝‍🧑🎎💏👭 enjoy going there. We got there early and it got more and more busy as lunch time came around. So thankful 🙇‍♀️🙏 my friends invited me here! Looking forward to taking my honey 💪😘🍯 pie there 🔜!! Thanks to the owners, sushi chef's, servers and other staff that made it so great!! God bless ya and your restaurant! 👼 👏 Jenna 😉 4/25/2021 North Idaho Life
