Been here twice. Service always friendly and cool. My favorite dish here is Asada plato, the garlic fries that comes with it is a must try. The taco price is reasonable for a tourist town ($11 for 3 Tacos of your choice). Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Being from South Texas, it's a gamble going to a taco restaurant but we were pleasantly surprised about how delicious the food was. We had the beef asada plate, which is perfect for a couple of out of towners to split since it has a little bit of everything we were wanting to order anyways (elote and garlic fries). Everything on the plate was to order, including the extra crispy fries. The beef was tender and well seasoned. We also were curious about some of their meat varieties so we also ordered a trio of tacos: carnitas, chicken adobaba, and brisket. Carnitas were seasoned perfectly and, although the chicken was a little sweeter than I expected, it was still good. Nothing beats Texas brisket but it was still pretty tasty. Worth a visit if you're here from out of town! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Street Corn

This place was good, the switchback fries were the best honestly, the tacos were a little small and didn’t have a ton of flavor, however the shrimp tacos were the best ones I did have, it would’ve been nice to get some lime with it and maybe a larger variety of hot sauces. The frozen margs were absolutely amazing though, I’d go back just for a marg and the switchback fries and maybe to try something other than a taco. If you order the churros make sure to get the Carmel, strawberry dip, coconut flakes, and whip cream on the side. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Drank local beer: Steamworks Colorado Kolsch. Cocktail was Paloma and ohhhhh so refreshing. If you like Jarrito Grapefruit, which they have, order the Paloma! Ate the Pork Carnitas Taco and Birria Taco (server was so kind to bring broth because it was dry). My SO had the steak Taco and the chicken Adobada Taco. All tacos served on warm, soft corn tortillas, which is how this fool prefers it! Street Corn in a cup was so good. Took off the crema and chipotle mayo for dietary reasons, but the corn itself had good flavor. The corn doesn't need anything, to be honest. Fun fact, if you come here, there are a few things they don't tell you.... 1) If you get chips and dip, they add on a charge of 2.50 for the chips. They don't list it or tell you that until you get the bill and realize that you pay over 8 bucks for both chips and dip. Pretty sure that is illegal. But whatever. 2) If you get a skinny margarita, you pay a dollar extra for not having so much sweetener. Because it costs more to not put in more ingredients. Whew! So much work! It's these kinds of policies that made me want to leave with my family and never come back. Personally, I'd love to hear what other shady stuff others have experienced as well from this place. Simply for entertainment purposes. But as far as I go, I'd like to pass from experiencing it again. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Fantastic vegan options. Marinated mushroom tacos, smoked tofu tacos, cashew crema elote, black bean dip, guacamole, all delicious!! They have a great patio in the back with front row seating to the steam train. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Vegan Elote
Great service from our waiter who clearly didn't skip arm day. Drinks were pretty solid as well, loved the spicy mezcal Marg. The house blood orange Marg was a bit sweet. Switchback fries were WAY to salty, although decent flavor. Guac was great. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Chips Salsa

Wow! The food is amazing, the tacos unbelievable, and OMG the service was incredible! The short haired waitress knows her way around some tequila. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food was great, but I discovered a week later upon checking my credit card payments that my server must have edited the receipt. We had ordered around $45 worth of food and drinks, and because we had a bunch of friends come in towards the end who didn't order anything, I left a $15 tip to make up for it. Lo and behold, my card was charged $90, not $60. This happened up in Purgatory as well, be sure to keep receipts and check your charges after visiting the Durango area!
