The manager refused to take my coupon that I had present it to him and when I told him to please figure it out he take my food back and throw it behind the counter that’s very unprofessional I’m a manager at a restaurant too so I know how these things go and then he claim he was giving me a discount for $7.99 and he didn’t he charge me full price which was $12.99 for a footlong Sub meal. I told him That was not nice I wanted my food order and I want it made over the correct way since she threw my food behind the counter

Man this was rough. I hardly ever post on reviews but this one I had to go out of my way to produce. I arrived and was the only one here. There’s trash everywhere all over the lobby floor, 3 employees, every table was disgusting with food everywhere. The 3 employees didn’t seem to care about their job at all. While eating (I’m traveling so I sat and ate) a group of 6 or 7 people came in and every single one of them had their order wrong. This one young lady repeated probably 6 times that she also wanted a Philly and they just ignored that order completely. She finally just grabbed her stuff and walked out cussing under her breath. This was a very rough site to see. I don’t know what it would take for them to be better but the route they’re going it’s not positive. Picture shows soda machine with layers of syrup just caked on. If I could have given them less than 1 I would have. I almost told the folks walking in when I was leaving to go find somewhere else.

My brother and I went to Subway in Mocksville, North Carolina, the 28th of October, 2023. We had 2 coupons each for free 6" subs. I let them know that before our subs were being made. When it came time to pay, I handed in my 4 coupons. The young lady didn't know how to ring them up so, she got the day manager and the manager says to me, " you can only use 1 coupon each. " I said " it doesn't say that. " she said, " it says it on the back. " I asked her, " where does it say that, I read the back before I came in." So, she goes to point it out to me and, it doesn't say that. It says " 1 coupon per sandwich, extras are not included " The look she gave me. Then she says, " I'll do it for you this time, you know we have to make money also " I said, " who doesn't" she rang me up as I was turning away, I saw her threw the coupons in the garbage.
Now, as for the food, at first I asked for a roast beef on cheesy bread, until I saw the 3 pieces of curled up brown roast beef and told the girl, " wait, forget it, that meat looked horrible, I wouldn't eat that. So, I got a BLT instead. Now it's time for the veggies, the tomatoes looked like they were from the day before, juiceless and dull, ( she didn't give me those ) the lettuce was a mix of green and brown. ( horrible ) I took the lettuce off when I got home. That manager needs to lose her attitude and speak to people like she would like to be spoken to. And that's my story.

Apparently this location "doesn't take buy one get one free coupons." Idk, maybe subway should stop sending me the coupons if the closest location to me doesn't accept them? 🤷🏻♀️

So I arrived at this location at 8:50pm. The sign clearly states that they close at 9pm as well as Google. I understand people wanting to go home. However when I got there and opened my car door, one of the young ladies ran to the back to shut the lights off and shut off the open sign. Again, I understand this may be an interesting neighborhood and safety is number one. Maybe they should close at 7pm to keep the young ladies safe who have to close at night. Anyway shirt story shorter didn't get a chance to get a sandwich at 8:50 pm.

I Know how hard to be working with customers and sometimes it’s not pleasant it when you take an hospitality job in special deals with different type of customer you should know the importance how to treat the customers doesn’t matter color or race always with respect.
I don’t tolerate attitude towards to myself or somebody else we are not asking for free food, I don’t appreciate for them to be smart when is about asking questions in special for a first time visiting the store.
Sandwiches were made it not good the tomatoes were out of the bread I think they throw the bag in the counter for us to pick it up.
Not satisfied with the service I can’t come back when I received that type of treatment.
Excellent staff! As soon as I walked in I could smell the restaurant was clean. Amazingly, the hallway leading to rest room smelled even better. The staff was friendly and attentive to my needs and conversation. The food was great and even passed my expectations. If a sub is on your mind, Subway on University is the place to go.
Slow service. Young lady's ear bud dropped out of her ear while making my sub. She caught it before it hit my food, which was good. But after she placed the bud on the counter, she was about to continue to make my food using the same gloves she'd just caught her ear bud with. I had to stop her and ask her to change her gloves!!!! Not good at all
Although this Subway was clean, it was disturbing to see that the food server who was going to prepare my sub wiped off the food counter with the gloves that she was going to use to prepare my sub. I believe she thought that I did not see her unsanitary action because she probably assumed that I was looking at the menu, but I was actually observing her. I nicely asked her to put on a new pair of gloves after I told her what I witnessed. She did replace the gloves with new ones and I was well-pleased. I would like to add that she was very apologetic, and she had good customer service. People who work in the food industry need to be mindful that we depend on them to prepare our meals safely, regardless of where we dine. I will, however, continue to purchase subs at this Subway, but I will continue to be observant on how my sub is prepared.
