Good place to dine on a good sunny day at Steinbua Elverum. It's nice to eat in a place where they serve traditional food with a kick of modern ingredients. Polite staff that always smiles and ready to assist. Cons: I hope their menu can have an English subtitles for tourists to have an option to choose for what they want. This can actually save time instead of asking and would be very convenient to both customers and management.

An average 2 star. I experienced my favourite meal destroyed. A got a lot more than i asked for, but not in a good way. Many others in my group didn’t get what they asked for. None of the food served tasted exceptionally good either. The food came pretty quickly though. They are the only place i’ve been at where they serve pepsi drinks. I suggest going to the Peppes Pizza across the street.

I order pasta gorgonzola but there was no gorgonzola taste in it. My colleague ordered Italian avocado salad but the avocados looked brownish and the consistency was strange. If in Elverum, a must for dining. Century old structure that has not lost its coziness / atmosphere. Fireplace in main dining rm is warm and inviting. Good selection of food - can't go wrong with pizza or salmon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Indoor is designed in wood, very much of a tavern/wooden cabin style wich is very calm and comforting. Outdoors is perfect for a hot day. The food is ok based on a restaurant standard.
