Good beer selection, two competent bartenders that offered samples of this local brewery to make sure we liked what we ordered. It is clean and it sits in the middle of the building, so you can grab food and sit there and enjoy it with a good beer.

Great beer selection. Customer service is terrible. They are very concerned with who your tab is opened with, so much so that they'll refuse to serve you if you opened a tab with a different bar tender. I got lectured one time about asking one of the bar tenders if i could close my tab and they were the "wrong" one to ask. The most disgusting display of customer service I've ever witnessed. Be ashamed.

We went there on July fourth and the bartenders were rude and seemed to be bothered that there were people at the bar. We tried to order and two separate bartenders walked away. I was by myself, but there were two separate parties next to me also ignored for 15 minutes. I walked away without ordering a drink and went across the street to Grain. We ordered several drinks and food. We had a great time there. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The prices are outrageous. The price per beer is more than you would expect to pay for a 6 pack! Example, loose cannon ipa? $9 pint! Unreal Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

Start Hill bar is super chill! Laid back atmosphere and helpful staff. Courtney the bartender was so nice and helpful. She let us eat our BBQ from guy fierris at the bar and hooked us up with recommendations and ATTENTIVE service! All star employee!!!!
