8:15PM on 9/11/23, my daughter and I ordered a tall iced chai and a tall mocha cookie crumble. The girl who waited on us was by herself-no other employees around. She first attempted to make the iced chai but said the container that would normally hold the chai was empty and that her coworker was outside but would be back. I was confused but told her to go ahead and make mine while we waited for who was seemingly her manager to come back in and tell her where the chai was at so that she could refill the container. She started on the Mocha cookie crumble and immediately turned back to us to say the mocha container was empty. She then states “it’s probably because we’re getting ready to close”. I asked what time they close and she said 9PM. IN 45 MIN. The manager comes back and said they were out and I kindly informed her that her coworker told us that it was because they were getting ready to close and had to throw the ingredients away. I said “it’s 8:15. You close in 45 minutes.” She had no explanation. We requested a refund and left.
