we had a great time at standby tonight! we arrived right when they opened to ensure we’d get a table, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. the drinks were excellent, we tried 3 different cocktails as well as an order of their coconut calamari. it was a little pricey (as is any trendy bar), but all of it exceeded our expectations! Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Coconut Calamari
Great place to have date night. The drinks were great but the best one was the lemon one. The staff were great as well and since it's a pretty small space it gets cozy fast. They do have a sit down bar area that you are welcome to sit at. I do recommend getting a reservation though as it is usually crowded. Would definitely go again. Also you know it's open when the gas powered lamp above the door is lit. Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visited Standby on 2/17 for the first time. From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted by a lovely host with a great smile and personality. We did not have a reservation, however he was able to seat us quickly. I ordered the Sweet Potato Apple Pie Streusel. This drink was out of this world delicious. If I could give it a million stars I would. The hidden gem here are the Marinated Olives. Absolutely the best $7 I’ve ever spent. If you are an Olive lover do not pass these up. Our server was the GM Liz who was an absolute sweetheart and clearly an asset to this establishment. The atmosphere here had a chill vibe. Everyone was enjoying themselves. I would highly recommend Standby and I will 100% come back again. Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My friends and I enjoyed our time here celebrating my birthday. Our drinks and the food were so delicious! Our waiter Ibrahim was awesome and made the experience even more fun and enjoyable. Try the fried deviled eggs, very unique and yummy. Highly recommend.
I went to Standby this passed Saturday and had the best time at the bar with my best friend, who was visiting from out of town. I’ve been to Standby before, but the Baker’s Dozen seasonal menu was another level. My favorite was the Plum Tart drink served in a martini glass that looked like the shell of a tart. It was so delicious! The bartender told me it was a take on an Amaretto Sour and inspired by a local French pastry shop, Warda, where we had coffee and pastries on Sunday morning! Hands down the best bar experience I’ve ever had Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Deviled Eggs
Small plates with ingredients you know but with a creative twist. The calamari was my favorite. Pork skewers were tasty. Rotating drink menus. I’m not drinking alcohol at the moment and they had plenty of fun options ‘minus the spirits’. Service was excellent. Attentive staff from the host to our server to the staff member who kept out water glasses full. We will be back! A cool spot for great cocktails! I especially love the option to taste a special spirit at cost.

My husband and I came on a Saturday night for the 2nd time; this time we made reservations. The seating was intimate but hey it didn’t bother me too much. We ordered several different drinks a piece & an order of the risotto. Our server was just as friendly as the one we had on our first visit. I could appreciate how the team works together, how other servers were checking on us, the attentiveness, and the vibe of the servers- just having fun at work. I liked how as the night went on the music would change and the lights would too to keep an upbeat vibe going. So with that being said we like the spot we found and will definitely return. Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food was really good but the service wasn't. It didn't seem understaffed to me. Had to wait for the cocktails for about half an hour. Just to give order, I had to wait for 15 mins. Cocktails were average. Tables were too small and so did the plates. 1 chicken wing couldn't fit in it. I was struggling to eat the wing on this undersized plate. They gave a butter knife instead of a meat knife. Pork gnocchi was really good and flavourful. Lastly after waiting for almost 50 mins, I got the pork skewers. They were awesome and flavourful too. Loved it. I would like to give 5 stars for the food but the service disappointed me.
This is my 3rd visit usually late for drinks but this time we ordered food. Kyle was our waiter with great suggestions. The poppers and fried deviled eggs were amazing. I loved the off the menu shawarma suggestion. It's always a great vibe here. Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fried Devil Egg
