I booked this restaurant a few weeks in advance for special meal with my parents and I am so glad I did. It was perfect. Staff could not have been better. Warm, friendly and welcoming. I have a food allergy and my dish was modified to make it right for me. Presentation of food is very special and most importantly, every dish had so much flavour. You can tell the chefs takepride in their work. The best meal we had in the Netherlands during our week long trip. Fantastic! I had to visit 2 nights in a roll so I can appreciate more of their magic. Have confidence to order their soup/meat/fish of the day. You won't be disappointed. Reserve your spot or try your luck for an 8 pm dinner. This place cooks and serves from the heart. PS: Thank you Julia and the entire staff for making me felt so welcome. What a gem in Delft! We had the loveliest experience here for a family dinner. Decor and details are beautiful. Service was amazing. Menu is inclusive of different ages and eating requirements. This restaurant was a nice surprise! The location in very pleasant! The inside really transports you to the old times, but if the weather allows, choose to sit outside. The food is very high quality. Meat is very delicate (I ate lamb and chicken), all the side dishes are aromatic. Sitting outside was a great choice, inside it was a little hot, not too much air. Staff - shorter waitress and waiter were fast, able to give an advice, knew the menu, friendly and caring. The higher waitress met me when I was getting the table and ignored that fact, so I had to wait 15 minutes, then go inside and ask somebody for a service. Three of us had a farewell dinner in Spijshuis De Dis on a weekday, almost full house, cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff, each of us had three courses meal with some wine and beer, food is delicious, price is reasonable. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic! Wonderfully presented, tasty meals and a nice blond beer from North Netherlands too on tap. Service was excellent from everyone. Very lovely atmosphere with a lot of cute deco and much hospitality! Recommend this restaurant if you are into a pleasant dinner experience. We ordered one braised beef and the fish of the day ( zeabas), quite tasty! The dinner portion was quite big to me so I did not opt for “clog” desert - my friend did and liked it!
