This place was crazy crowded. The food was delicious and expensive. We had to wait 15 mins before we could get the table. It is run by the owners, and they are really sweet. We could see they were exhausted as the restaurant was packed. The food quantity was less as between four of us we had to order the curry again. We had one appetizer (Mushroom one), paneer butter masala and Malai Kofta. We had to order one more paneer masala as it was not enough. Malai Kofta we asked to make it spicy but it was blend. Paneer masala was delicious. They charge 15% service fee by default which was strange. I mean if we want to tip we can tip 15% or 20%. But forceful tip was not good. This place is a must visit! Be sure to make a reservation because it gets super busy and everything is made to order. The garlic naan was so fresh, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. Their chicken tandoori was one of the best I’ve ever had. The accompanying green chutney sauce is full of flavor and you want to keep coming back for more. Delicious mango lassi (they also make it with alcohol say what??!). Samosas really big, crunchy, and full of bursting flavor. Rest of food not featured because was too good to wait. Great service, really sweet owners.
Best Indian restaurant that you can get in and around Simpson Bay. We tried the chicken tandoori, kohlapuri chicken and mutton biriyani and all of them tasted great. The food is cooked as a North Indian Cuisine, and each dish is very different from the other. Everyone here is very hospitable and service is very good. It’s a must try and highly recommended! Highly recommend. Indian cuisine is one of my favorites and I’m quite picky about it. This place nailed everything. The dishes are on point and also very approachable for those who might be nervous to try Indian for the first time— you can easily customize your spice level preference. The service is 10/10 wonderful about educating and explaining dishes so that you can be sure you’ll enjoy. The best Indian food we’ve ever had in the world - not even exaggerating! My husband always thought the best Indian food was in the UK but now he says it’s in Saint Martin! We had the samosas, special chicken curry (so hearty and bright with the hint of lemon), palak paneer (my personal fav), the butter chicken, garlic naan and rice. Everything was so delicious, portions were surprisingly VERY filling + the service was impeccable We’re glad we chose Spices of India for our last dinner in SXM. We’ll definitely be returning when we come back to the island next year! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

While in Sint Maarten/St. Martin, if Indian cuisine is on your menu, then this is the place to go. My recommendation. Before or after watching close-up the planes land, this is the stop for delicious Indian food. The majority of the menu items are from northern India. The place is cozy and clean, the wait staff is courteous and very attentive, and the kitchen crew is great - the food says it all. We ordered a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and each of those was better than the other. Sint Maarten may not be a place that you visit very often, but when you go, this is one of the good options to try. Do not forget to try the packed “paan”, a well known mouth freshener. I definitely want to revisit this place. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Recommended dishes Butter Chicken

Wow. Just wow. Food is AMAZING. They truly took their time with prepping our meals. But it was worth every single minute. My partner has never tried Indian food, and at first it can be intimidating because of complexity of flavors and spices. So for a first timer we got butter chicken. He LOVED it. Surprisingly good Indian food in the middle of Maho Beach. The Samosas were hot, well spiced, and very flavorful. The Shrimp Masala curry was outstanding and the naan was hot, thin, and crispy. On top of it, Arti and her team were the best hosts one can imagine. Can highly recommend. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Incredible food! My boyfriend said their chicken vindaloo was the best vindaloo he’s ever had. The naan were so fresh and delicious, all the curries we tried were incredible and the samosa were so tasty. The service was great and everyone was so kind. We loved our experience and will crave this food when we go home Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
