Exceptional. Service was outstanding, atmosphere so beautiful and food was outrageously good. We all tried the tasting menu, and were all surprised by how delicious each dish was. The cod was my absolute favorite and my fiance (who "hates cod" ate every bite! Everyone else at the table said the green curry soup was their favorite, mostly because of how surprising it was. The wine list was impressive and mixed drinks delicious!! The only thing I'd say is the open air multi-level design makes it quite noisy upstairs, as all the sound from downstairs finds its way upstairs. If anyone in your group is hard of hearing or sensitive to loud noise Im rather confident it's quieter on the main floor. We will definitely be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very cool architecture/place/location. Amazing and delicious food. We celebrated with the 5 course surprise menu and were very surprised about all the different tastes, textures and smells we were getting from the great food preparation by these chefs that you can see from your seating. Honestly, i've been to Michelinstar restaurants which served food just as good as this restaurant, but in these other restaurants we sometimes payed double the price! And the service was amazing, the food always came on time, the ambiente was just beautiful, and so on. I would come again if i ever get to visit, and would recommend it to everyone! Really nice experience. The food was delicious, we took the 5 course dinner and it did not disappoint. The best the strawberry dessert and the fish, followed closely by the meat and the crab. The wine pairing was spectacular, one of the best we've had. The service was also really great. I would 100% recommend this place. We came without reservation and could sit at the bar, but I would recommend to book a table in advance. In addition, the building has an amazing architecture and decoration. 5 stars! Finally I got to visit Smag & Behag! You should too! It does not look so special from the outside, but has a unique feeling to it from the moment you step inside! The welcoming staff took good care if us from arrival to the night came to an end… always close by an paying attention to us whenever needed. The recommended 5 courses where delicious! Just go with it, you will not be disappointed… The only thing you have to secure in advance, is good company… I had, so the evening became one to remember. Looking forward to my next visit

Wonderful new place in Kristiansand. The menu is exciting, with a point of using fresh produce from the surrounding area around and in Kristiansand. For around 600 NOK you get a five course meal, and is in my opinion well worth the money. The serving staff is very helpful, and seem to know what they are talking about. Highly recommended. Will visit again.

I like going to a restaurant where the waiters remove the finished plates AND also ask when your glass is empty "would you like another drink?" That and the food here is amazing! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
