A Chinese restaurant like you would expect in this part of the world. Although not everyone manage to pull it of. For what you should expect, this is a decent restaurant! The interior and ambiance is not as nice as Peking House (with almost the exact same menu), but with slightly better food. The Kung Pao completely lacks the fiery kick this Szechuan inspired dish should have, but it tastes ok. (No hint of Szechuan pepper or chilies). The sweet and sour is OK. The fried rice is excellent, and nice portions on the children’s menu. The ingredients like carrots (in all the sauce bases dishes) is not something I’m a fan of and really not that authentic, but it gives a nice crunch. Go for the lunch menu, which gives you huge portions for a very reasonable price! Bevare: if more than a few tables are filled, the kitchen quickly gets backed up, and the service (which is mediocre at best) gets very slow, and inattentive. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Good prices (for the whole family we spent 800nok) but food is mixed in quality. Two our dishes were drowning in thick sauce were vegetables were scarce and taste was strange. But fried dishes were Ok. Service bit cold Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Hadde peking and i går, kjøttet smakte godt og risen var ok men resten var jeg ganske misfornøyd med. lite grønnsaker, og alt for mye saus. det så ikke ut som en kinesisk rett, men istedenfor et sausete rot med noen få grønnsaker i sausen. skulle tro at kokken ikke hadde lyst å lage maten med tanke på måten den kom ut. det er ikke chop suey jeg bestilte. som sagt, kjøttet smakte godt, men skinnet på anden var overkokt, og hadde ingen ordentlig tekstur. jeg har hatt and mange ganger før, men dette er første gang jeg har vært så misfornøyd med peking and, noe jeg har hatt mange ganger før. (på andre restauranter) gir maten en 2 av 5 fordi kjøttet smaket godt. servicen var god, så den får 4 av 5 stjerner og atmosfæren får 3 av 5. ganske rolig lokale så man kan fokusere på maten sin og snakke sammen, men ikke noe spesielt.
