This diner is another one of those places you can't judge from the outside. I was skeptical at first being dinner food. However this dinner brought me back to my childhood. For that sliver of time I was back at my grandma's house! She always call me and say the cafe is open meaning she was cooking breakfast. I got that same feel from the food and service here. I can't tell you how great the breakfast is. You literally watch it being cooked right behind the bar area. You can tell it's made with love ànd care. Do not hesitate to stop in I doubt you would be disappointed. The chefs are awesome and the owner said it best. They make it easy for him! As long as he has them it runs itself! Cute little place. Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly. Everything was fast and up to par. They offer options for your breakfast potato. Coffee is good. 10/10 this is the first time I’ve been here and I will definitely be a repeat customer. The service was calm, friendly and inviting. The environment is so relaxing and comforting. The food was outstanding. Warm and cooked just how I asked for it to be cooked. Coffee was piping hot. Even spoke to the owner who just bought it in July, super nice gentleman. Stooped in for breakfast had 2 eggs overeasy with sausage links white toast and home fries with onions. Restaurant was clean, people were friendly and helpful. The food was great salt and peppered eggs and eat them down. Found out they made their own pies so had to try one went with banana cream pie, crust was flakey and tasted great and so did the filling. Schreiner's reminds me of the old dime store diners. You can get a table but they also have stools around 2 countertops. I don't mind eating alone with others around. Wow! Yummy- very friendly staff and “home atmosphere.” I ordered the Denver Skillet with Raisin bread! Bread was delicious, definitely recommend the raisin. Skillet was cooked perfect as well, have to admit one of the best breakfast diners in town! Hidden Gem-!

Best steak and eggs. Period. Is how I felt before they started over tenderizing the tenderloin. It Was mushy as if it had already been chewed, terrible texture. Way to ruin an amazing cut of beef from Jacobs meat market 👌 everything else is always amazing.. don’t fix things that aren’t broken Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You can never go wrong with a classic American diner. Fast service, yummy food. Breakfast was great. Will be stopping here again
