I've been to this location a few times now. The tastes offered by SaySo are a notch (or three) above anything I've tried in the area. I'm excited to try any new flavors and drinks they offer.
Try the Cardamom latte for a high-quality burst of spices in a properly made latte. The balance of flavors and the strength of the latte is dialed in.
Alternatively, I highly recommend the 'sprota,' an espresso, seltzer and golden milk café cocktail. It presents their delicious espresso in a fresh way. The golden milk gives it a variety of flavors.
The owners of this café are clearly passionate about their location and the tastes they offer. It's a high-water mark for coffee in this area.

Visited on a Tuesday morning. There was only one other customer. The barista kept chatting with the customer and was making himself espressos. He saw me but didn’t let me know how soon he would be able to help me. I was in a rush so I didn’t end up getting anything. I’m sure the coffee is great but it would be nice for them to be a bit more sensitive to time especially on a workday morning. The inside is super nice and clean.
The manager helped save my life today. I was trying to sell a litter of kittens, but I was trapped in a burning building fire and I was bleeding out badly. He found me, and gave me a blood transfusion. He also donated 4 of his kidneys and helped me find homes for the litter of kittens, and then he managed to find world peace and end world hunger through his amazing cup of coffee at Sayso.
Winston Salem people need to visit on a regular basis.

This place has a special place in my heart as an early introduction to specialty coffee.
They serve good coffee, have all the bases covered and something to offer to anyone. The space is great for work, study, and conversation and socializing. Sayso has lots of events and is invested in the community, so that's great to see in a coffee shop.
Every interaction with the baristas I've had, have been great. And we love to see Black & White served in a shop, they do it justice.
All in all, my favorite hometown coffee shop, and one I make an effort to visit every time I visit home.

$16 after tip for 1 small pumpkin spice latte & 1 flat white, both with oat milk. That’s the most I’ve ever spent on 2 coffees. Unfortunately I didn’t try the drinks until I was already on my way out of town or I would have asked them to remake it. The flat white tasted terrible, like they mixed the oat milk with old dish water or something and I ended up throwing it away despite the very high price. The pumpkin spice latte was nice though.

I've been here a few times over the last few months and I've never been disappointed! Today was my first time back in quite some time and to my pleasant surprise they had remodeled the entire store. This new design helps the space flow much better than before, the updated furniture is excellent and even the bathroom is a vibe! LOL. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee in Winston Salem then Sayso needs to be on your list of places to go!

Just discovered this place! Best oatmilk vanilla latte I've had in a long time. Will definitely be back. I wish the hours of operation were a bit longer. Staff was friendly too.

It was my first time there and I had a gift card for a latte and it was great. The gentleman that made it for me was very nice too. I would definitely go there again.

I stopped by Sayso for the first time today and have to say it’s my favorite coffee shop in Winston! The staff was amazing, my coffee was perfect, and they had delicious treats from Bobby Boy bakery- which is the best! Sayso is super cute on the inside, clean, and had outlets which made it great place to post up and do work. I will definitely be back!

Always a good experience when I come in, coffee is excellent and the selection of beans is great, I’ve found some great roasters via sayso, fun to try new things. Pastries are always excellent as well.
