Best restaurant in town. It was my first time there although my fiancee used to go there everyday on his lunch break when he worked at Roth's. We met our two friends there one is currently the manager at Monmouth Roth's the other just retired as manager of Monmouth Roth's. They of course knew the owner and his family. The owner brought our food to us just to say hello. He seemed like a very nice man. They bragged about how hard working the owner is. It showed. The food was great. Hot, fast, accurate. The cost for the four of us each getting full dinners and one beer a piece was VERY reasonable. I always check the bathroom of the restaurant when I go to the first time. I know how clean of a place it is by how clean the restroom is The first place I go when I get there. This one was immaculate. This was very clean. Nice restaurant. Home Town feels for sure. Small homey type restaurant. Large portions and very reasonable pricing. We were quite impressed with the small after-dinner dessert included with each meal. Last week I took my mother to this beautifully appointed Mexican restaurant. We were instantly impressed by the bright, cheerful, colorful authenticity of the decor! Even the dining room floor is covered in tile! The food was absolutely incredibly delicious, including the dessert! The staff even sang “Happy Birthday” to my senior mother. Delicious food prepared perfectly! Very friendly staff who were attentive and helpful and a very inviting atmosphere. Between the smells, taste and decor it's a whole experience while you eat! Plus the raspberry ice cream at the end was also extremely delicious! I had the San Antonios platter and it was bursting with flavor with each variation of meat. Can't wait to go back!

Good food, pass on the margs. I had the Pollo San Antonio and it was very tasty. A sweet and tangy sauce, offset with bacon! Lived in San Antonio for 16 years and can’t say I’ve had anything like it. The margaritas were disappointing- top shelf prices for well drink quality.
