Went here for dinner with my husband. I eat one of the best pastas I have had on this island. We had a very friendly waiter and great service! We didn't make a reservation. We will be back soon to hang out at the pool for lunch or dinner!

super fancy hotel resort with a super fancy Restaurant... i wasn't staying at the hotel, but my family and i made reservations for Salt. the food was great, the drinks were too! the service was amazing and so was the view. (when did this start sounding like a poem lol) anyways, you must go here if you're looking for a shmancy way to spend your evening
The food here is awesome. We stayed at The Morgan and ate most of our meals here. The view overlooking an infinity pool and ocean made the experience even greater. The staff was very friendly. Oh and last but not least, the orange juice and virgin piña colada are a must have.
We ended up not finishing dinner because it was that bad. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and even though it was ladies night and every lady got a feee glass of Prosecco they didn’t give my husband a glass for his birthday. Seemed very lame and not impressed from the start. It only got worse. I was even offered a refill but no glass for my husband. The pear arugula salad had canned pears, not fresh and it was €20! How can they possibly think that’s ok?! I also I ordered the lobster ravioli in a saffron beurre blanc sauce and was told the pasta was made there but these were clearly frozen raviolis and the sauce was tomato sauce. My husband’s truffle risotto was made with fake truffle essence. It had that very distinct fake truffle taste. When we asked about the lobster sauce we were told it was the saffron causing it to be red. Saffron is orange and no way would it turn it red! My husband is a chef and went to The Culinary Institute of America and knows what a saffron beurre blanc looks and tastes like. This was clearly a tomato sauce. No wine, no butter, and no saffron They even served it with tomatoes. The chef came out and continued to say it was a beurre blanc. See picture of tomato sauce. The food here is frozen and fake. I’ve never left a restaurant like this having to send the food back and leave without finishing the meal. It was that bad. I only wish we would have left a tip for the server and not paid the bill. This was the worst experience and restaurant. When it doesn’t look, walk, quack or taste like a duck just because they tell you it is doesn’t make it so. Shame on Salt for lying.

Stopped in for lunch. We were not staying at the resort, although I wish we were. It was beautiful. Our server was nateisha and she was excellent. I had the fish of the day, and my wife who is vegan had an impossible burger (which is impossible to find on sxm) so she was very happy. Had a great time!

Came here for breakfast. Ambiance is great - outdoor seating by the pool. Unfortunately, the service was very poor (long wait times, server basically abandoned us once food came) and the quality of food bad for the price. Very plain, flavorless eggs Benedict and French toast. Very overpriced for the quality. Would come here for a drink by the pool but avoid the food.
