I want to start off by saying I like the store. Always clean and great selection of products. But every time I come in there is always only one register open. I waited 15 minutes for my turn. I had a full cart of groceries and there was also a long line at self checkout with one of the self checkouts were down. There were 2 employees at self checkout but only one register open? Last thing you want to do after work is wait in line that long. Think I'll go down the road or Walmart at least around that time to avoid this.
This store is terrible! 90% of the products that are gluten-free are not marked gluten-free. You have to read every single label. This is a total waste of time. Their Apple Pay does not work. The employees are less than helpful. I was shopping this morning at 8:30 and there were no registers open. It was self checkout only. And the two people working in the self checkout area were more concerned about arguing with one another than helping any customers. This place is a joke
Placed an online order and Jerry made sure that the product was ordered swiftly. Jerry called me to inform me it was in. Very much appreciated. Beautiful store and nicely organized and clean. All personnel are very courteous. Thank you!
I have used the bakery Dept. twice and every time the cakes are amazing. Tori in bakery was amazing and made the experience easy and delightful. My birthday cake was beautiful and very tasty. The price was excellent. I will be using this location for all my bakery needs. Great job!
This Safeway location in the valley is undoubtedly my favorite. It consistently impresses with its cleanliness, well-maintained stock levels, and the exceptional staff members who create a welcoming atmosphere. Moreover, their convenience shines through with the Safeway Express section at the gas station. While the offerings at the express shop may be simple, they perfectly cater to those seeking a quick stop for essentials, be it a carton of milk or a small item. customer service associate does not even know their own policy. Tori sold me money orders the wrong amount I must say there was an issue with them and I had to bring them back. She told me to hold on for a manager to do the return the manager comes up and says we don’t return money orders, I’m hearing this is becoming a common thing with Western Union but it doesn’t say anything in the policies for Safeway. In fact, I was told initially they would return them and then she changed her story. . and rudely gloated on the phone and told me she didn’t care if I posted anything on social media. It’s been my experience in the past that if someone needs to return the money order they’re supposed to put not used for purposes intended and refund the money.
I contacted Western Union they don’t even answer the phone, this is so very messy The person that was on duty as a manager told me to go to a check, cashing place check cashing places do not return Western Union money orders so this is not good information to be giving out to the public if you’re selling a product that you’re not guaranteeing.
I stop to get gas, the pumps weren't accepting debit at the pumps. Went inside and I politely mention that the pumps had a issues with cards. The store associates told me to go somewhere else. They didnt say, I'm sorry, nothing, very rude. 6:30 am 02/03/24. What happened to human kindness.
Clean store, wide selection, helpful and friendly staff, and such a nice plant selection 😍 The pharmacy is always busy, but I’ve never seen more than 3 or 4 people waiting in line.
Great employees for the most part. Well stocked and I see employees actively cleaning constantly. Parking lots okay. Florist has decent selection. It’s no where near the size or inventory of the Fry’s down the road.
