Haven't been to super sub since new owners took over and re-did the inside. I gotta say that it's gorgeous inside...not sure about the pink wall but I'm there for the food. Checked out the menu and decided on the appetizer combo (fries, chicken tenders, popcorn chicken and mozzarella sticks) And a small tuna salad with onions and lettuce, black pepper and no salt on anything. I'll start by saying fries are OK and there not my favorite food but these fries reminded me of pier fries, if I had vinegar on them you'd think they came from the beach. I ate every single fry in that box. The tenders were juicy inside and the outside crust was definitely good. The popcorn chicken was alright and the mozzarella stick had that juicy milky pop when you bit it. I'm picky about tuna subs. Some places put in too much mayo and it ruins the flavor. This tuna was fresh made, enough mayo to moisten the tuna-lettuce-onion and the fresh roll definitely makes it perfect in my opinion. The help are social and funny but always make you feel welcome. I'm looking forward to summer weather and stopping by for more of the menu 😋 We went again and again the fries and chicken tenders were perfect BUT I need to talk about the steak and cheese with mushrooms. I have been craving this since Louis went out of business but I gotta say this is where I'll be going to get my steak and cheese, fries and subs. Everything has been so delicious and the prices are low considering the taste and quality your getting in return So take a moment to swing by and check it out. After working 13 hours in the medical field taking care of the elderly driving from Portland on an snowy day roads not being plowed In Portland area all I wanted was to get home safely and something to eat the food is definitely good and pricing is reasonable so I visit this location often because the building is leased by my landlord on today an staff member got upset because I came into order and she was sitting down eating with an spouse she was upset like I was bothering her I could of came back and ordered after she finished her food I asked for food not an attitude if you don't like your job find something else I don't care size color or shape I expect to be treated with respect and greeted the correct way not with an attitude like she didn't want to be there jobs are always hiring if you don't like your job ITS SIMPLE FIND SOMETHING ELSE Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Discovered this gem while on a road trip. Very authentic experience. The staff was extremely helpful, efficient, and friendly. Breakfast sandwiches far exceeded expectations. I have been going to this establishment since I moved here from NY YEARS ago. When the food started getting bad a few years ago I stopped eating here. When I saw they had new owners I was eager to try again. And I wasn’t disappointed. Here’s what to look forward to: A DIY flavored Red Bull station! Fried Appetizers cooked to perfection! Fried Haddock is AMAZING!! And the cold subs are delicious and never disappoint! The pasta salad is my favorite in store ONLY thing I wish is that they used the cubed cheese… not a big deal still yummy! And I wanted to share something I witnessed. One night when cravings kicked in and I wanted something sweet, I remembered hearing they had deep fried Oreos! (YES! THEY HAVE FRIED DESSERTS TOO!!) And there was a couple of gentlemen one came in asking prices for a ham Italian when told how much a small was he responded I only have $3. The owner without any hesitation said that’s fine I will do a small for you for $3. It was such a small act of kindness but I am sure it meant the world to the gentleman who was having a hard time. SSS has been made a part of my daily routine. The staff is friendly.. even when they are busy they are still smiling and interacting with customers. It has been a very pleasant experience each and every time I’ve gone in! (Update) - they fixed the veggie editing options in less then hour of this post- thank you SSS 🙏 and I read your comment about clover, I will definitely check them out bc I definitely plan on ordering from you guys all the time still 💪 Normally it’s 5 star everyday of the week but recently they have been falling off. I ordered a veggie Italian on door dash which normally has options to adjust the veggies, now there isn’t . I ordered it and almost was given just bread with mayo on it, twice now bc I didn’t choose any options ( bc there is none). Today I ordered Mac and cheese and again no editing options so I figured it’s just Mac and cheese but it’s bacon Mac and cheese which I can’t eat. Luckily I also got a fish sandwich but it was just a piece of fish on dry bread bc I didn’t pic any options , but again there was none. So if you are door dashing … wait until they fix there dash site bc Iv wasted a bunch of money the last couple weeks which is unfortunate bc they are normally 5 stars 10 days out of the week but dashing has been rough lately Service Delivery

Return: 08/16/2023 Just tried their breakfast pizza and it was absolutely incredible. Loved it!! First time in since it was renovated (and I assume purchased by new owner??) Ordered a bunch of food for the family. Order was not done in quoted time due to equipment failure (fryer died) The person making food was very apologetic of the situation and remade everything that was affected. Ham and turkey sandwich was delicious with very fresh ingredients and the bread was soft and fresh. Cheeseburger sub and cheeseburger were enjoyed by the wife and kid. Even with the small hiccup (which was handled nicely) service still gets 5 stars because of how nice the employee was, just goes to show what some positivity and kindness can do. Anyone searching for a classic yet modern sandwich shop look no further. I’ve been local my whole life and have seen this restaurant change hands a few times over and even move location! I have to say the new owners are running this place so well, it has a nice family atmosphere, the place is clean and well lit, a great selection of chips, drinks, and menu items. My girlfriend and I got sweet potato fries (cooked perfectly) a ham Italian and sausage pepper Italian. We shared half of each and the produce, meat, cheese, and bread were all so fresh and tasty! I can’t recommend this place more. And to the new owners: keep up the amazing work! I love seeing the improvements to the food and to the interior! And I just want to say thank you!
