I've been coming to Rudy's BBQ for years and it's always a great time when I go. The food is some of the best BBQ around. The service is good most of the time, they offer military discount as well. The atmosphere is great, they have huge wooden table benches, good music, and a couple of tvs. This place is an awesome example of a great Texas BBQ spot! Dang good BBQ here in Texas. Consistent experience as with other Rudy's in Texas. Great food, fair prices, excellent customer service. Delicious food options, including all the smoked meats and BBQ side. If you love barbeque this is the place. Nice to have the Tesla supercharger in the parking lot, convenient. I like Rudy’s and the old time country store style. It is well decorated inside and out, including some vintage fuel pumps (inoperable) out front. The bbq is all pretty good, particularly the moist brisket. The prices are a little steep, in my opinion, but it’s worth a try for sure. This place was recommended by locals and it delivers what you expect. Delicious Manu, all BBQ based. Suits any time of the day. Plenty of seating options, family friendly. Fast service, friendly welcoming staff. I ordered the brisket and prime rib. PS, although the menu price is 1/2 lbs, you can order 1/4 lbs....which I did. Really excellent Texas-style bbq market. The servers were welcoming and since it was my first time they provided some samples for me to try. Really tender and d juicy brisket and chicken. I went with the brisket, pulled pork, and a jalapeño sausage with cream corn and the potato salad. I could not really taste a difference between the sauces but they tasted fine. Rudy's is great! It is very consistent and is a good example of Texas BBQ- It is the best "restaurant chain" BBQ anywhere. The smell is awesome in that place. I love the quick service model and the staff is very friendly. I've been eating at Rudy's since it was a gas station in the San Antonio area it was good last century and it is still good now. This location does the Rudy's brand right! I was so happy when it was built because I always had to travel to get my Rudy's fix. Keep up the GREAT work y'all! Well, it was a interesting experience. No plates, just wax paper. While talking to the cashier, we mentioned that "we heard this is some of the best BBQ in town.", where they responded with "No... And I don't like the food here.", which made us want to cancel our order. We ate anyways, but that's strange.. Comment from the employee. :). Wet brisket was very fatty, should of went with the not wet. Turkey was good. The place had atmosphere, and certain county charm to it. I personally found it very over priced for what we got. Exceptional food and friendly service! We were visiting from out of town and stopped here for lunch and were not disappointed! The food was cooked perfectly and everything was fresh and well-seasoned. The turkey was moist and flavorful. My sister got a banana pudding that we were going to share but she had a bite and decided I needed to get my own. 😅 As a nurse, I was especially impressed with the large hand washing sinks lining the walls OUTSIDE of the bathrooms! We will definitely go back when we are in TX again!

Really wanted to like this place… but it’s just NOT there for me. Came to kill some time while charging my Tesla. Food is great, BBQ sauce sucks (both flavors). I wouldn't even say it's a BBQ sauce, it's more like a spicy Cajun dressing. I ate the turkey sandwich, recommended by employee and it was delicious! Just disappointed about the BBQ sauce. The food here is delicious. Quality is always very nice. Best potato salad besides my mom's. The quantity is spot-on for the prices. I think the sauces are a little bit spicy but the turkey here is sooo good you don't even need it. But all the meats are great.
