I stayed for section hours due to back to back brunch meetings today!! Several of the servers knew me because this is one of my favorite places ever!! The food was awesome, the service is always polite, professional, and on point (accurate). The atmosphere is warm and inviting! I sat in the bar for the first time and didn't realize the bar had tables!! Watch the game and transitioned between meetings beautifully!! We will definitely return! Must haves: Lavender Martini Tomato Basil Mama's Lasagna Prime Rib Collard Greens Pizza Butter Rum Cake You know what: you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!! 5 star experience for our Valentine’s Day date night! We went at 6 pm on a Saturday without a reservation, and only waited about 25 minutes for a table. The food was sooo good! I highly recommend the Bison and Sausage Cream Cheese Dip. I had the prime rib for my entree and it was so juicy & tender. I really loved the lodge vibe of this place, from the rustic decor to the giant fireplace. It felt like we were dining somewhere on a snowy mountaintop. Our server was friendly and attentive! First time here. Really cool vibe, service was excellent. I recommend making a reservation on weekends. Good drink selection, even for beer lovers, and the food was good. It wasn't great, but that likely had more to do with my personal selection. Wife loved the ravioli. I had the scallops, but wasn't crazy about the dish as a whole. Oh well. Restaurant is noisy and it can be hard to converse at times. We'll come back though as the building itself and the service were top notch. Bison burger next time for this guy! I know management can't control the customers individual volume but we were seated beside from very loud patrons. At times many customers were very loud. It sounded similar to a large school cafeteria when we were kids. The food was good but definitely not worth the price. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Husband took me for for our anniversary and it was an overall great experience. Staff was friendly and we were seated instantly, the complimentary bread and butter was very good, warm soft bread and salty butter was a great pair. I ordered the French dip panini and my husband the duck. My French dip was amazing, the horseradish sauce is a MUST on your sandwich, it definitely makes a difference and I would definitely reorder this, my fries were a little bit cold but that’s okay. My husbands dish looked great and tasted even better, he finished his whole meal. I would definitely be back and will recommend this place. We also only paid 54$ (not including tip) for our meal. What a great place in Winston-Salem. I went to lunch with my wife and another couple and everyone loved their food and drinks. The menu is very broad featuring items such as duck to normal dishes like hamburger. The staff was excellent. Can't wait to go back. It was honestly one of the best meals I have ever had the pleasure to eat. The food was honestly nearly perfect. The service was impeccable. The main dining room is massive. Really cool looking. Cozy doesn't come to mind, but really well done. You get that lodge feel. Massive fireplaces, exposed beams, lots of rustic woodwork etc. A little expensive but well worth it. Enjoy! Only took pictures of the first course! This location never disappoints me!! Today we were on a pre-anniversay celebration and we tried to have all of the specials on the board when we walked in.... They sold the Strawberry Creme Brulee before we could to that course but the meatloaf was fantastic and we had Mac&Cheese, Brussel Sprouts, Loaded Potato Soup, Collard Greens, Smashed Sweet Potatoes, and the Pesto Chicken pizza without the chicken with Pelegrino, Coffee, and Lemonade. Every bite was excellent! The mgr new our faces and greeted us politely and professionally when we came in! The server was attentive and so was the host! Overall a fantastic experience for a nice lunch 😋! We wanted to try it out as a romantic date night option and was impressed with the decor, it has a hunting lodge vibe without feeling too heavy handed. The service was impeccable, with the wait staff being attentive and friendly even with a full restaurant. The menu has a great variety and a few wild game options you don't usually find at other places. The only drawback was the noise level. I've never been to a dining establishment where the prices were this high but the entire place sounded like a sports bar. I know that management can't really do anything about it but I was hoping on our second visit it would be better and no, it was still rowdy and loud.
