Food was nice except for the dessert, the you should go get gelato. The service can be improved a bit, only one waitress is looking after the whole yard with 12+ tables. And it took us 3 hours to finish a lunch… After all, it is lunch, 3 hours is not reasonable. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €30–40

Friendly service and cozy setup. On the pricy side but the presentation shows. We let them surprise us with a 2 course lunch (first course beef and main course codfish) of which the flavours were delicate and subtle in comparison to the nacho platter we also ordered, which was just bursting with flavour and topped off with sour cream and guacamole. Our valentine dinner date was extra special due to the lovely service, atmosphere and delicious meal Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
In Wageningen on a national holiday there is not much going on, so we ended up here to have some lunch. The service was not super quick, as the waitress told us, as they were busy with some catering, but anyway when the food came it was actually pretty good, so all in all a good meal outside in the sun.
Not the best experience. The wine and the food aren't tasty. The wine tastes like bought in the supermarket. We had duck and it seemed either made from frozen or had a really bad quality. The "huisgemaakte frietjes" are way too oily and seemed also made from frozen. We paid 90 € with 3 people by not choosing the expensive bread that would like to sell to you and had just water and one wine as drinks. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere next time.

Great food, friendly staff, the chef really knows his stuff. Outside dining with a view at an old church building and the surrounding square Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Good food for a very decent price, and a fantastic location overlooking the old church. The menu is creative and plated nicely. Good service. As others have pointed out, the open kitchen airs the smell of dishwasher, which is unfortunate. Nevertheless had a great evening.
Very rude and unprofessional. Simply refusing a customer by bluntly saying "we only cook so we can't serve you" is a little questionable. Walk few feets further and enjoy much better foods and service in the square.
Had a high-tea with 11 persons including a vegetarian and a list of allergies too long to mention. E-mailed our wishes. Everything was arranged to perfection. Separate dishes for different allergies. The pumpkin soup served in champagne glasses gave a nice touch to our celebration. Would love to come back.
I ate here on a very hot day. Most tables outside were occupied. I ordered Indian curry. This came fairly promptly. It tasted nice, not very spicy (as Indian as one can expect in a non-Indian restaurant I suppose). In summary 'the food is ok', and the terrasse is nice.
