Amazing location of the restaurant, with a spectacular view of the surroundings of Wageningen and very close to the arboretum. After a small walk we had some snacks and nachos. The snakes were ok (not much to be said here) but the nachos were very delicious! Crunchy out of the oven, covered with cheese and a delicious guacamole and tartar sauce. beautiful view, nice atmosphere, we had lunch here and I enjoyed the many options for lunch and everything was tasty. the staff were friendly, but perhaps sometimes a bit unattentive but that's maybe because the terrace and the restaurant is very big so it's hard to cover all tables. All in all, it was a pleasant experience, I went there after my graduation and and I was happy i recommended this place for my family.

A small committee went through the four-course meal at the Belmonte and I don't think anyone left without a smile on their face. The starter had a mix of things, but the basis was a loverly duck. The salmon was cooked just right, and the beef (the main) was just perfect. I don't think I've ever had a piece of beef as good ad that one. Lastly, the cheesecake desert was fantastic. The staff were great, explaining the courses we were having, and always made sure our glasses were full. It is a bit expensive, but worth the value.
