Service was great, my Polish is not great but the server spoke great English. But the atmosphere! Where are we? Absolutely cozy and beautiful. A little mountain lodge in the middle of the city. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good service. The main dishes are tasty and you can get full easily, however in some of the stuff you can find sugar where it shouldn't be, and too much of it. Good looking place, even despite some of the paintings that are neither good not fit there.

Good food and very large portions. My soup was lukewarm, but the others had theirs hot. I had to wait a long while for mustard/horseradish for the shank, but all in all it was a good experience.

The location of Karpielowka is maybe not the most convenient but we were lucky enough to park the car on one of the streets nearby. The inside is rather cozy, but the table cloths need a wash, or a change. The stuff was polite but could smile a little bit more. The waiter informed us that every soup was based on meat broth, though he did not suggest or offer any veg alternative. Luckily, we found out there was a seasonal, pumpkin soup available. It was really tasty. We ordered potato pancakes, with chanterelle sauce and cheese/spinach. They were really good, soft, crunchy, well spiced and nicely served. We did not order any drinks but I wouldn't mind if there was just a simple black tea with lemon in their menu. Give it a try, the food is good and the prices are reasonable.

The restaurant is has a good polish cuisine, the food is cooked well. The staff is polite and nice. Sometimes, you need to wait a little bit too long for the for to be prepared but that is only if you order meat. Also, if you sit on the terrace, it can be a little too loud as it's close to the main Street.
