I enjoyed my veggie burger on my last visit to this location. The food was hot and flavorful (on a previous visit, the food wasn't as good, but there was substantial improvement). My husband normally loves the fish and chips. The burgers have been upgraded! So flavorful. I had a cheeseburger with fresh jalapeños, pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo on a lettuce bun and fries. They made sure to note no gluten and I didn't get sick! Not even a little. They have a separate fryer for the fries. Service was excellent. I came on an off hour and got to sit down right away. Their root beer was really good but the water had a bit of a sour taste (like most restaurants). I ordered the scorpion burger with fries and it was really spicy. The fries were ok. I used some of the ranch I got with the fries to tone down the spice a little. It was still good. I would recommend the scorpion burger to anyone who can handle spice. If they can’t, I’d recommend the Royal Red Robin Burger. 5 stars for me, I’ll make sure to come here again. We always request to set in Amber's section because she provides excellent service! Our food was perfect for all three of us. I believe they upgraded chefs/cooks after bad experience there. Everything was soo good. We just came from old Chicago. (they seated us and forgot about us there.) We walk out after waiting 20 min so we were so hungry. But! Everything was better when we got to Red Robin! The lady who seated us greeted us as soon as we walked in and our sever was amazing and got us everything we needed:) amazing job guys ! We came in June for my aunt’s birthday and my cousin’s chicken tenders were cool and raw in the middle. We met friends and their kids there tonight and the burgers came out room temp, onion rings and jalapeño coins were cold, Whiskey river burgers had no onion straws and the slightest dab of BBQ sauce, cocktails were 99% juice so we paid $10 for a glass of juice. The manager was upfront when we left chatting with the hostess about his motocross and never came into the dining area once while we were there to check on his patrons. We will not be back. Very Nice Burgers to Order Really 🌟🌟🌟 1/2 We've been in the area for about a year, and decided to see what Red Robin had to offer. Nice burgers to order with unlimited fries. The atmosphere, service, cleanliness, and variety were all VERY good. I do plan to come back. Why not 4 or 5 🌟s? The burger was a bit messy. I don't recall having this problem anywhere else in my recent past. My wife had the same experience with a different order. The broccoli should have been cooked longer. I also thought it was a little expensive compared to some other and similar restaurants. Good meal, good flavor, good service. Handicap accessible. Ample parking.

We arrived at 5:45 and got seated right away. We were given menus and no one stopped at our table for 20 mins so we just got out and left. There was a manager there that was just standing and not doing anything and other workers that ignored us. I would take your party somewhere else as there are plenty of better options in Dubuque. Our service wasn't bad but also wasn't great. Had to flag down our server for refill on drinks and when we asked for more fries we barely got any. Wanted to ask for more fries again but seemed like they just wanted us to be done, almost like we were a burden. We were a party of 2, me and my 10 year old son. Our order was nothing difficult just a bacon cheeseburger and chicken strips so not sure what the problem was. The first bite of my burger had a piece of plastic in it. The server and manager were quick to remedy the problem and I was given a new burger in a short amount of time.
