This place is such a treat. I love the fried rolls, my wife and I get the "Bruce Lee". They have very consistent quality, the price is good for what you get. I have eaten here about 30 times in the last 6 months and I will continue to treat my wife to this delicious food for our sushi dates. Whenever I show up, they already know what I want and they remember just how I like my order. Their attention to customers is great and they want the customer to be satisfied. I give this business 5 stars because it's an all around vibe that I like a lot! This place has the best rolls (especially spicy tuna! 🔥), portion, service, and freshness! I can't thank them enough for providing great raw fish dishes since I gave up trying nigiri or rolls in Eastern WA.. I understand to have less fresh or choice of fishes but.....I couldn't stand spending $50-80 for blend meshi, cucumber tasted fatty fish rolls....powdered Wasabi....and saucy ricecake like rolls.😭 The prices of rolls and nigiri arent that different, and I don't expect Shiro's or Kashiba level in East of Cascades...but I just wanted to have adequately seasoned meshi, fatty fish 🐟 rolls and nigiris, with less powery wasabi-flavor...😅 The raw dead fish is surprisingly great for sushi craver like me! Their spicy tuna rolls are spicy and savory enough that I didn't need soysauce at all, their roll with salmon and hamachi are always my favorite :) Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Roll
Ee don't even know what to say. We were slightly skeptical of getting sushi at a food truck. The reviews spoke for themselves and we really did want to try it. We got there and they were a bit backed up. They squeezed us in after hearing we were from Pendleton and wanted to try them. God bless them for it. We took their recommendation of a roll not even on the menu yet and a spicy tuna roll. The one not on the menu needs to be shared with the world, it's incredible. This was hands down THE best sushi we've ever encountered. Flavors, textures, and combinations were spot on. If we ever come back to CDA we're coming back..... in fact we may just make the 4 hour drive for a sushi date night at Raw Dead Fish!!! I always leave this place happier (and it's not just because their sushi is the bomb)! Today, their deep fryer was broken and even though I'm sure it was hectic and frustrating for them- they were so kind, so workable, and had appropriate substitutions ready to go. The owner is Travis & if you ever get the chance to order on a day he is working, the guy knows his sushi and is always so helpful! Thank you for another great lunch! First time eating here and it was really good! We both got the surprise me roll and they were amazing! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Roll
I’m gluten-free… And sometimes finding good sushi that is gluten-free is really hard, but raw dead fish came in clutch! They customized a roll, were super happy to do it and the sushi was amazing! 10 out of 10 every single time I’ve been there. A business I will never hesitate to support. INCREDIBLE SERVICE. & GREAT RECOMMENDATIONS. The food is always so yummy and affordable. They don’t sacrifice taste for the price. I have some dietary restrictions and they were incredibly helpful, and workable! As a “meat eater” I was tentative about the “guilty veggie” roll.. YALL. It’s SO FREAKING GOOD. (Pictured in review) These guys are my favorite sushi place for when I’m in the mood to just grab it and go (not sit down restaurant style). Try them out!
Food: Aggressively average supermarket grade sushi. Service and vibe of the truck were pretty darn good. If you aren't a sushi snob then this place is GREAT FOR YOU! But if you can tell the difference in grades/freshness of fish then I would go somewhere else. Priced very well but it is what it is......sushi from a taco truck lol One thing I have noticed since moving here is how white everyone is when it comes to food. As a Mexican/Japanese American it is SOOOOOO disappointing to go to one of these cuisines up here. Not a single good Mexican place (yes I have tried them all in the area) and only 2 good sushi places. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Descent sushi for a descent price. The Godzilla was my favorite. You can order online and then pick it up at the food truck, which is nice. I like their botanical theme in front of their food truck. Friendly staff and creative rolls. Stopped in on vacation in Coeur d'Alene for a tasty bite and was not disappointed. Some of the rolls could have been a little "tighter" but it's a small grievance considering their more than ample size. Best food truck sushi I've had. Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
