Its our first time here in Durango, Colorado and craving for Italian food. And we found this place and ordered the Ragu De Pancia and the days special Lasagne de Bolognese with a Tiramisu as a dessert. The food was awesome! Its really good. But I wish their service is a little bit warmer since we are new here if the staff could display a welcoming feeling it would really make a difference. But the food is 10/10! So so good! You should definitely visit this place! Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
Hostess was rude, went inside and was told there would be a 45 min wait. There were several tables open and only 8 ppl Inside. Don't understand why they turn away business.. update: I've worked in customer service my entire life, to tell someone it's unacceptable to have their own thoughts is hilarious. The customer may not always be right, but you sure make them feel like they are by address and taking care of the issue. What makes you think with a response like that we'd come back??? We won't, because no matter what, our first impression was just that. Your hostess did not reassure us that you wanted our business nor did you have other Reservations. A little coaching could go a long ways. I wish you best in the future, and hope you business continues success. My 7 million reviews and followers love my honest opinion. Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Food and service just was okay. We asked if there were any sprinkled cheese on our dishes and the server set. They don't sprinkle cheese on their dishes. Look at my attached photo to see what was sprinkled on our dishes. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Tartufo

We walked in on a Friday night for dinner. We had a 30 min wait, but we were able to sit outside with a cold drink from the bar. Dinner was delicious. My toddler had the butter noodles, and we ordered the Pasta Bolognese, Fettuccine al Tortufo with Meatballs and the Pomodoro with Meatballs. The Pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was delicious and the meatballs are a must try. Food came out fast and the staff was super friendly. Would definitely go back! Service was great, the waiter was super kind and helpful. We came in starving so before even paying we asked with bread and he brought some (of course it was added to our tap but with toddlers this is wonderful). My kids had the bolognese and a side of sausage, it was a good portion and overall it tasted delicious. We had two different types of salad they were both great specially the one with cucumbers which was very unique and different. I had the special (not in the picture) but it had sausage and red sauce, nos sure which kind of padre but it tasted excellent! My husband had the Siena and he said it was one of a kind! I ordered the Rustico salad and pasta Bolognese. My beverage choice was ice tea. A gentleman served the ice tea and told me to ask if I wanted more. The salad that was dropped off was inundated with dressing. There was no tasting the arugula. The entree was unceremoniously plopped on the table. The server did not bother to ask if I needed anything else including more tea. I had to wave down another server to ask for Parmesan and black pepper. The pasta was very good; however, the sauce lacked any distinct flavor. The Roman bread had a good flavor and texture. At no time did anyone ask if I was enjoying my dining experience. I decided against dessert. What really caught my attention was three employees, including the bartender, drinking shots of liquor while working. Perhaps, that explains their could care less attitude. I am fairly confident I will not be returning. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
We've been wanting to go to Primi for a while. On the off chance, we walked by for lunch & they were open. The vibe of the place is very inviting, open and friendly... almost light. The food was amazing. I had the simplest thing on the menu, noodles with olive oil (I recently had a tooth extraction). And for such a simple dish, it was incredible. The black pepper was on point. My wife's mushroom pasta had great sauce. I'm not familiar with Italian wines, but they do explain what to order for what dish. A few beers including Italian selections, this is a wine place. So consider that before ordering. You order at a main counter & they bring the food to your table. They have a small counter with some retail to purchase (drinks, fresh pasta). Highly recommended. Hands down the best restaurant in Durango. From quality to quality of service to quality of food. Whenever I have family in town or friends stopping through I make sure to recommend they stop by. Great front and back of house staff. An owner who prides himself on quality and sourcing local ingredients. The waiter was rude upon entering, he acted as though we were bothering him. The only nice person was the girl who bought our food to the table. Extremely high prices for the food, nothing special. My husband ordered a meatball sub. The bread was so hard he couldn’t bite into it he had to use a knife. $18.00 for a low end Chianti we will never return, and the chairs and wooden bench’s to sit on were horrible! Never Again!!! Absolutely fantastic. 3 cheese panini was amazing and wife loved the pomodora. Perfect portions. Very good deserts and coffee. Topping it off, probably the most reasonable prices in our 2 weeks in Durango. Sorry we waited till our last day to stop by.
