I ordered the 16 piece chicken meal, picked my 3 sides that they said go with it. I received 6 biscuits, 3 close to halfway filled sides, one of which I was charged a dollar for. And to top it off, they gave me only 12 pieces of chicken for the 16 piece price. While I was there other customers that were eating there were complaining to the workers about the small serving size and sodas that tasted more like water than soda. I will never go there again. They do horrible business and were rude to the customers, trying to dispute what the customer was saying. The customer was telling the truth!

Waitress served our food on time & it was very good but she wasn't very friendly. She didn't do anything wrong but , usually a waitress has small talk with you & smiles & is friendly but she did her job - I thought she could have been a little more friendly !

I’ve never seen a Popeyes so empty. Now I know why. First off, my order was completely wrong. Second, my wife and I are both sick. Pretty amazing that the sickness onset not even 5 minutes after eating.

Indian people have bought this place and absolutely ruined this restaurant. When it first opened up it was good now service is terrible. The workers barely speak English or can even get the orders right. Also they turned of the drink fountain because they're cheap and don't like people getting free refills. These people need to stick to their scammer calls.

Very rude staff at the drive through window.
The gentlemen at the window. Placed my food sideways in a small bag resulting in all the HOT sauce from the HOT chicken getting all in the bag and on my kids lap when she tried to take the box that contained the food out the small bag. What is going on with this location?? Where is the common sense? Why do they have people here who clearly hate their job and hate people in general. Where’s the human decency???

As far as overall experience goes, it's consistently underwhelming but never bad enough to write off entirely.
Depending on the time of day, the drive through can take upwards of 20 minutes. There is also no "dip out" lane in case you change your mind & want to leave once you get within a few car lengths of the drive-through speaker.
Items may be forgotten and the total is always more than you expect it to be. Like, a 4 tender meal and a chicken sandwich might come out to $26 somehow. Maybe there's a secret to cost effective ordering that I'm not aware of, but I don't think you'll ever leave here thinking "I spent a reasonable amount for what I got."
Otherwise, the food is usually pretty decent. They'll also throw you sauce without questioning how many they already gave you (unlike the McDonalds across the street), so that's a major plus. The staff I've encountered are nice enough.
To wrap up - it is not a go-to by any means, but I'd go here if drive through was empty and it had been a number of months since my last experience.

I was there at 8 pm on a Thursday and it was packed! I finally tried the famous chicken sandwich (5 minutes before they ran out!). And I liked it. It was juicy but did not taste spicy to me. So, am not sure what all the hype is really about! Perhaps I just need to try it a few more times! ;) Would give it 5 stars but they take a while to make your order and today they also ran out of fries and popcorn shrimp.
Who ever the hiring manager is needs to reevaluate their team’s ability to comprehend what exactly is customer service. Bring back the other people who use to work here. The new crew here are rude. I’ve been living in Lowell for 15 years. I’ve seen people come and go at this location. But never have I ever received this type of service before.. smh.

This is a very well run Popeyes. I have come to this Popeyes many times, the servers are always kind and very patient with customers, even when theres a lot of us. It's a great location to go to for a quick snack, for a quick family dinner/lunch, and I would take a group of friends or a date here; granted not a first date.
